I am so glad that I found your channel today, I was going through a Fred Fried interview and he mentioned your name and I was like I haven't heard of this name before but now I know what he was talking about. I am a big fan of solo jazz guitar and my idols are Ted Greene, Antoine Boyer, Tim Lerch, Joe pass and now you as well. You are so criminally underrated and underappreciated. I am so excited to learn from you through this channel, Please never stop making videos ever ❤️❤️✨✨Love from India🇮🇳
Every time I watch I watch one of your videos it makes me feel like Saliieri watching Mozart take his lil entrance tune and turning it into something great. Amadeus, Amadeus! Tory Tory!
Can you repeat or notate the Stravisky Prokofiev Bartok-y tune? It was... amazing. Have you ever thought about making it into a standalone piece? Anyway.
I agree, she needs to put out a instruction book so us mere mortals can 🧐understand and get in the game. Christ, I am retired and bought a guitar and am struggling with Mickey bakers book, a Charlie Christian transcription book, a Vincent Bredice scale book, Ted Greene’s books. I am living in the past and she is taking us to the future! I’m driving a model T and she is flying a ufo😂. I thought lenny Breau was the GOAT, she is definitely beyond him, about time someone came along and is moving things forward on guitar! I really dig her Bebop style and she ain’t afraid of doing some out Sun Ra avant garde playing. Heck, like Lenny, she seems to be able to play any style but is creating her own space! I am really digging her.
Wow!! Your counterpoint improvisation is so good. Tory, did you listen to Ted Greene improvising in the style of Bach / Baroque? His videos are here on youtube
Another great video Tory! Love the ponytails and the choker as usual. 😉👍 Here's a treat for you: The original "two-handed touch" master himself Stanley Jordan giving a Masterclass - ruclips.net/video/bIT2BjU_0Ck/видео.html . It's a video he had put out in the '90s. Hope you enjoy it!
Wondering why u r not recognized wider. U may disguize urself a male guitarist. Or put more groove in that gives the mass of the average listeners a fence bar to lead them
With every one of your videos that I watch, my face gets melted-er and melted-er.
.... Really sorry about that
@@TorySlusher It's OK, I love it.

Ha! Jazz version of Flight of the Bumblebee................. a Jumblebee if you will.
They said don't get mad, when you someone who was practicing while you were chasing ass and getting high.
Excellent work ma'am! Very inspiring;

Perhaps, eventually
If you ever write an etude book with all your noodlings, I will buy it.

Wow! Tu genialidad me recuerda personajes maravillosos… Stanley Clarke… for example… eres muy buena!
Awesome !
EXCELENTE!!...
This was great! Do you know any Skynyrd? Love ya Tory!
....*shakes head in disappointment... No, just kidding
Mam how can I do this tapping I always had a great trouble in playing tapping. Should I try with the metronome
practice, practice, practice. Also, yeah...a metronome doesn't hurt. Sorry, I don't think there are any real shortcuts to getting good at it..
Wow,!
Tory, I'm guessing you studied classical piano at one time? Your ear and fingers are very skilled. Love it!😊
Kind of, I used to study composition, which inadvertently lead you down the path of piano scores and figuring out how all of that works...

Yes indeed I did... 🧐. That's part of what gave me the idea to do this in the first place
😀
You are gifted. The rest of us aren’t. I feel like an auto mechanic listening to Einstein. Occasionally something seeps through.
What a nice thing to say...
Serious question, how many should I learn to understand the first 30 seconds of the video?
Nice vid btw!
Touch tapping technique
The weird intervallic ascending / descending stuff?
@@TorySlusher Yea just like everything Lol i think I understand the separate concepts, but putting everything together in one thing its mind blowing.
It's not it, but you do something in the beginning 30 seconds of this that kind of reminded me of the intro to Long Distance Runaround from Yes, haha!
Somewhat inescapable in the year of 1984

I don't know, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens....
@@TorySlusher while it happens u have already had tons of weirdo guys who admire you me among them
