26 Weeks with Aurora Police

A career in law enforcement sure is challenging, from the inherent risks to time away from family, but it’s also a chance to serve your community and help people in need.
Those are just a few of the reasons why some of our newest recruits decided to apply to join the Aurora Police Department.
Here in Aurora, new recruits must complete 26 weeks of extensive training before they’ll be considered an officer.
