- Tori sings what might just be my favourite B-side: Sister Janet. The harmonium version from 1996 is a masterpiece, the harmonium transforms it, it's almost hymn-like and so beautiful. I read somewhere that a fan suggested to her at a meet&greet that she should play it this way, don't know if that's true but it's truly genius.
Goosebumps.
one of my favourites ever!!!!!!!!!!
Thank you , I too had the vhs and felt like I was *there* too
That last part is simply magical.
This song tends to get lost in the shuffle, but it is one of her finest in my opinion.
This was done in OAKLAND Ca. I have the original
+Daine “EarthObserver” DeClercq The original video tape?
+Lotte Twilt yes I have an original from oakland I purchased in 97 from a music store in Castro Valley. Somebody in the balcony recorded it . I need to convert from vhs to computer.
This looks like an organ not a harmonium
It's a harmonium.
@@nothingbutmeat realizing europeans call a type of organ a harmonium. I associate harmonium with the Indian instrument that you pump with your hand
@@thestormlscoming Ah, that would explain it. 🙂 The Indian handpumped harmonium actually derives from the European footpumped version, I guess that's why they have the same name.
