  • Tori sings what might just be my favourite B-side: Sister Janet. The harmonium version from 1996 is a masterpiece, the harmonium transforms it, it's almost hymn-like and so beautiful. I read somewhere that a fan suggested to her at a meet&greet that she should play it this way, don't know if that's true but it's truly genius.

      +Lotte Twilt yes I have an original from oakland I purchased in 97 from a music store in Castro Valley. Somebody in the balcony recorded it . I need to convert from vhs to computer.

      @@nothingbutmeat realizing europeans call a type of organ a harmonium. I associate harmonium with the Indian instrument that you pump with your hand

      @@thestormlscoming Ah, that would explain it. 🙂 The Indian handpumped harmonium actually derives from the European footpumped version, I guess that's why they have the same name.
