I'm so thankful that it was easy to do that and follow. I watched your Video the whole way through and wrote it all down. I like the way you fastened off, it's kind of invisible, I was scared to do that but I did and now I'm glad. Thank you again for such a beautiful pattern.

The snowflake is starched as she goes along. I used a 2.5mm hook and it's easily 5 inches across. Mine's floppy too. Has to be starched and pinned to dry in shape.
I found some yarn at Hobby Lobby called Braided Basics Small that is 65% cotton, 30% polyester, and 5% Lurex. It’s cream colored with golden flecks. I used a 5.5mm hook and made this to act more as a doily or hotpad (with a warning, of course.) It ended up being 10” across. I have plenty of yarn left on this 274 yard skein, so I’ll probably make a few for gifts. ❤
