Europe is always far far better than Asia Africa Pacific and the Americas. If I am unable to visit this beloved Europe in my life tenure then then I am very much grateful to this video effort as they acted for me as an appetiser.
I became addicted to your videos and I start my day drinking my coffee and watching them. I started by getting addicted to walking tour videos then found your channel and drinking morning coffee with your videos ever since. The videos are awesome with all that location information and history, other vloggers don't bother to put that much information, where you put effort to do so with excellent direction and time stamps. My husband loves your videos too. We live in Canada and most of the year everything is covered with dirty snow and ice. Your videos make us dream about a vacation, sun, beautiful Italy which we visited before, happy walking moments in busy streets full of history and spirit on both sides.
I went to Italy for the first time Sept. 2019 and stayed in the town above Positano for 6 days. Positano is amazing, it is where my Grandfather was born. So special to me.

The entire Amalfi coastline is beautiful, but there is something spectacular about the way Positano climbs the cliffs out of the sea. Walk-in Positano will be well rewarded with quieter corners of the beautiful town

Thank you so much for taking me all the way down to the lovely sea in Positano! I visited in May 2018 but my crummy pulmonary issues would not permit me to walk those twisty labyrinthine alleys all the way to the water, knowing I’d have to make my way all the way back up as well! 😱🤷♀️i do remember the alleys and countless shops and many hidden steep stairways and beautiful colors and sounds. Now I feel as if I was walking along the shore too. 👍

As a Canadian marveling at Positano from afar, how could you not go to Positano? Its beauty of buildings rising up with the mountainside is spectacular. You must go see it for all of us who may never visit Italy ourselves.
I was here exactly a year ago! What a coincidence. We got off the bus just where you started the video and had our final meal at that little footpath cafe you show at 2:32. Such wonderful memories. My favourite part of the town is the walkway with all of the vines growing up the walls and on the trellis roof. There was a musician playing when we were there. Thank you for the memories. I am particularly interested in the Beach areas and how many beaches and sunchairs they have that you can rent. On google maps and some pics I've seen online, there is a nice beach area that is kind of an enclosed area by the pier that extends out with deck chairs and umbrellas of its own. I'm not a fan of big waves coming in, since a harmless, medium size wave took out my knee several years ago in California and I was on crutches for 6 months. I am hoping you have some details of the beach areas in either the daytime or evening. I remember your other Sorrento walk from a couple years ago didn't go all the way down the beach, so that would be spectacular if you could this time! thanks for the message!

Chris Call - There is skepticism around it yes. I believe we are not getting the full truth. A US doctor questioned why how all the deceased in a morgue had death certificates that said they died from Covid. None had died from anything else. A staff member told him they were doing as they were told. Now he is making RUclips videos how that got him in trouble and the government wants to investigate him. Also, I worked in the television once. We told all sorts of lies to creat a story. I will never believe the media and in particular the News.

Hi, Isaac. If there's any chance you can do an evening/twilight walk in Positano, much like you did in Sorrento, that would be marvelous. There's something about the evening light that makes a place seem even more magical, and I can only imagine what Positano would look like. If you can finish the walk perhaps at the beach or somewhere where we can see the nearly setting sun over the sea, that would be spectacular! Hope I'm not being too demanding! We are still stubbornly hoping for a trip to the Amalfi coast in May of 2022, but we'll have to see how restrictions go this year. Here's hoping! Hope you and your family are well.
Hey Ken, Good to hear from you. I can do that for sure. It would be no problem. Right now it has been pretty cold and rainy so it's probably not a good time. Also, this is the first week we've been in the Yellow meaning we can travel around our own region. Before that, we could only move around our own towns. Italy is supposed to release a new decree today so we'll see if we are able to travel here soon. Positano is in my region though so maybe I'll go check things out this weekend. No plans as of yet. ....maybe a video of a cold and empty Positano would be good to see. :)
@@ProWalks Even a cold and empty Positano would be more beautiful than most of the places in the world! Our latest plans are to base ourselves in Positano at the Villa Gabrisa, so we'll see how travel restrictions play out. I would think by the fall we should have a pretty good idea of where the world is at with vaccines. And I want some homemade limoncello! Take care.

Hey Ken, I'm heading out to Sorrento in a couple hours to film an evening walk. I figure this might be my last chance for a while. The weather is getting worse next week. I will post up both walks hopefully this coming weekend.

I am particularly interested in the Beach areas and how many beaches and sunchairs they have that you can rent. On google maps and some pics I've seen online, there is a nice beach area that is kind of an enclosed area by
the pier that extends out with deck chairs and umbrellas of its own. I'm not a fan of big waves coming in, since a harmless, medium size wave took out my knee several years ago in California and I was on crutches for 6 months. I am hoping you have some details of the beach areas in either the daytime or evening. I remember your other Sorrento walk from a couple years ago didn't go all the way down the beach, so that would be spectacular if you could this time! thanks for the message!

Sure it is a Paradise the all Mediterranean Sea are magical Spain, Greek islands.. I been in many places, but..... is sad that last years too many refugees were died drowned 😥

I'm growing tired of comments like this. The pandemic is what it is. It's an infection like any other, physiologically & biologically. 99% of the Worlds population either have NO symptoms or MILD symptoms. 1% have an Altered Immune System Response ie an ALLERGY to the virus (Hyperinflamation). Are you suggestimg 99% of people stop living/ enjoying life because 1% are suffering? What do you mean "believe" in the pandemic? Do you WANT everyone to be scared & be afraid to live?
From my perspective & that of the Universe, billions of people are over-reacting causing more harm than good. Can you see that?

@@AbiNomac I'm from the USA. Half of our population thinks it's a hoax. Consequently we have now lost over 200k and counting. With a combination of a timely response and a president that would have told us the truth, we would have had far less mortality.
Chris Call - There is skepticism around it yes. I believe we are not getting the full truth. A US doctor questioned why how all the deceased in a morgue had death certificates that said they died from Covid. None had died from anything else. A staff member told him they were doing as they were told. Now he is making RUclips videos how that got him in trouble and the government wants to investigate him.
Also, I worked in the television once. We told all sorts of lies to creat a story. I will never believe the media and in particular the News.

Hi, Isaac. If there's any chance you can do an evening/twilight walk in Positano, much like you did in Sorrento, that would be marvelous. There's something about the evening light that makes a place seem even more magical, and I can only imagine what Positano would look like. If you can finish the walk perhaps at the beach or somewhere where we can see the nearly setting sun over the sea, that would be spectacular! Hope I'm not being too demanding! We are still stubbornly hoping for a trip to the Amalfi coast in May of 2022, but we'll have to see how restrictions go this year. Here's hoping! Hope you and your family are well.
Hey Ken, Good to hear from you. I can do that for sure. It would be no problem. Right now it has been pretty cold and rainy so it's probably not a good time. Also, this is the first week we've been in the Yellow meaning we can travel around our own region. Before that, we could only move around our own towns. Italy is supposed to release a new decree today so we'll see if we are able to travel here soon. Positano is in my region though so maybe I'll go check things out this weekend. No plans as of yet. ....maybe a video of a cold and empty Positano would be good to see. :)
@@ProWalks Even a cold and empty Positano would be more beautiful than most of the places in the world! Our latest plans are to base ourselves in Positano at the Villa Gabrisa, so we'll see how travel restrictions play out. I would think by the fall we should have a pretty good idea of where the world is at with vaccines. And I want some homemade limoncello! Take care.
