THANK YOU!!!! FINALLY some common sense answers to the maze of mystery that surrounds the jungle of music royalties and how they affect small operators!
How are you supposed to know how many listening hours you're going to have? What if you mis calculate and you get way more listeners? Do you get fined?
HELLO, MY FRIEND. IM TRYING TO START AN ONLINE RADIO STATION, BUT THE SITE IS CLOSED. DO YOU KNOW OF ANY THAT IS SIMILAR TO THIS ONE. I HAVE LOOKED AT LIVE365 AND it's VERY EXPENSIVE?
ASCAP terminated StreamLicensing’s ASCAP license on July 1, 2017 for breach and default and the service has not been licensed by ASCAP since that date. In other words, despite several statements to the contrary made by StreamLicensing’s owners and operators, StreamLicensing has not “covered” its Broadcast Affiliates’ performances of ASCAP’s members’ music since that date. It has not paid any fees to ASCAP - on behalf of its Broadcast Affiliates or otherwise - for the period from Q4 2016 through June 14, 2019, the date on which it purportedly shut down its business.
I checked out your website rippedradio.com. Looks like now there isn't an embedded player. Instead I had to click another play icon and a pop-up player appeared. Had something changed in Streamlicensing policies that cause you to change how the player is presented on your website?

You are the man. I have been looking to stream my own internet radio and you explain it in simple terms. Thank you very much.
Thanks man. I’m looking to start a small business radio station and I’m looking forward to learning about your advice.
Thanks for the info I'm getting on board.
Appreciate it man! I’ve been looking for this information all last week.
I am in the Philippines, licensing is through “filscap”, which charges you annually. at least as I understand it.
StreamLicensing has officially closed. Do you have any alternative option?
Ascap.
Dont need any.
What if i want to do live
Thank you!
Been running for 8+ years and never had any. Streaming on line and over the air. Not having a licenses does not mean you are not legal.
And thank you!!! If all goes well, I should be up and running by the summer.
i contacted the licence company in my country but never heard back from them
Thanks, this helped me a lot!

Very interesting video - thank you. Does anyone know if there's a UK equivalent of StreamLicensing.com?
How would I control my stream going to shoutcast? I cannot control what player people use from that. Will this license protect that?
I just heart that Streamlicensing.com is being sued and they do not have the authority to offer there services. Please explain?
