- We totally understand now why things got a bit blown out of proportion. But we are definitely not about slapping anyone's hands, that's not our style!! 😔 And hey, about the confetti - It's top-notch stuff 😄 We just want everyone to have a great time without any hard feelings. 🫶 #crystals #fyp
...that was the most half hearted slap. Some people need to be reminded that context os important.
No, I think if these creators can't handle the retardation of youtube comments and feel the need to reply and acknowledge all of them, well shit, good luck😂 SO many channels I follow even respond to obvious troll bait, like girl, get with the program and IGNORE THEM.
Exactly, I didn't even register that as a slap. Some people need to go outside more
I swear I thought it was just a frim pat, good that people care about children but very much the wrong video to critique
100% agree 😂
Wouldn't even call it much of a slap, more a tap, and certainly not towards the adult they actually used for the skit. However I am glad they explained that they don't do it to kids. Although yeah.. more tap than slap.
It's also important to realize that the hands being gently bapped are Adult Hands. It's okay to presume that some things are exaggerated for the video
That is NOT a slap lmaoooo 😭😭 that's a firm pat on the hands at most
I saw the Dalmatian Jasper & knew before it was mentioned! Those are great looking crystals!!!
Same! I have Dalmatian Jasper and Normal Jasper in my rock collection!
My dogs name is jasper. He's a dalmatian
Thank you!! 🥹

What crystals are you taking about?
Looks like a bunch of polished stones.
As an almost definitely autistic person with many autistic friends the sensory experience of just running one’s hand through those is amazing. Like legitimately could do it for hours
Fr same
Same
I don’t have autism, but I think a lot of us could agree that it feels so cool and strange.
I don't have autism but I agree
I'm 98% sure I have ADHD and this is exactly what I'd want to do, but 2020 taught me better 😅
Are people really this dumb? Duh its not actual confetti and no you don't throw in the air. Its called confetti because of the mix of colors and crystals. Do you think confetti cake is made out confetti or cotton candy is actual cotton???
"Use the whole scoop to get as many as possible" I'm pretty they were doing just that with their own fleshy attached scoops.
😂 "fleshy attached scoops"
I remember when places had these and those little velvet bags. I'd pick through and get as many as I could of my favorite stones. My bag was always packed!!
Never apologize to please people. They will never be pleased.
I’m convinced that sometimes creators just say sorry to make more content for more exposer lol
@@alicemiriahI was thinking the same thing. Content creators love perceived controversy because it gets them more clicks.
How anyone could believe otherwise is beyond me. Ppl are just looking for a reason to hate!
There are just really dumb kids who think getting angry over a random video on twitter is important. Ps it's not.
I'm 42 years old and I would want to dive hands first into the confetti. I completely understand how excited those kids must be.
I am so glad that I don't live near your shop ... I would come back to scoop way too often😂
There's a few of these in Nebraska but there's 2 different sizes of velvet bags hanging by them for different prices. You're allowed to shove as much as you can inside them as long as you can tie it shut. One place will hold it upside down before you pay, if anything falls it goes back in.
There used to be a lot of places around me in Minnesota that had the fillable bags. I was amazing at getting every speck of space in the bag filled with rocks. It felt like my childhood died the day I brought a bag to the register and they dumped the bag out to count and charge per piece.
@MaskedReviews I'm in Minnesota and my uncle sells them by the bag at his bait shop Down on the Korner in Granite Falls. Kids love it! He sells other rocks and minerals per piece as well but definitely doesn't cheap the bags kids fill.
@@SpookyLacey Good to know at least one place is still doing it right!
@@MaskedReviews The Trading Post in Grand Marais has pay-by-the-bag.
I remember this in the shop in the lodge at Mahoney State Park.
Why not use ''Ziplock'' baggies S,M,L . all you can fit in the bag and still be able to close it properly.
In South Africa we have something called Scratch Patch. Or at least, we have a few around Cape Town, I'm not sure how common they are in the rest of South Africa. Imagine this x500, you can choose a container size, pay for the container, and then fill it up with whatever you want to.
Sounds AMAZING !
We have these bin or mixed rocks in every gas station, corner store and tourist stop in northern michigan. Its always nostalgic when my daughter gets rocks like i used to as a kid. We have these rocks all over our house!
I love rocks too! Grew up loving all the rocks in gift shops, like you talked about. Felt like I could dig through those for hours! It was a really, really exciting moment to do that with my niece (technically second cousin), and buy them for her, now that I'm grown up and she loves rocks too. ❤
P.S. I've got some family in Michigan too...I wonder if we ever came across the same rocks in a gift shop!:)
Edit: typo
I've never seen these as a se michigander 😭 gotta take a road trip soon (':
I have lived here a year and haven't seen a single one :( wtf
@@craveliving681 up around Petoskey you'll fine them in every store practically
Some people intentionally go online to see how many times they can offended themselves before their phone dies.
Your confetti is beautiful ♥️✨
This just sounds like a bunch of parents who don't want to parent. 💀
I will parent like an absolute demon if someone slapped my child’s hands. You would see parenting like you wouldn’t believe, parenting out the wazoo, Grizzly Bear Mom style parenting.
I really want to touch all of the shiny rocks. They look like they would feel amazingly smooth.
(I'm an avid crystal collector and very inclined towards certain tactile feelings. Recently acquired raw garnet chunks and peacock ore from a mineralogist expo)
I have a Dalmatian Jasper in my rock tumbler right now 😁
I would just stand there zoning out scooping crystals for hours
I think its very interesting to see what other adults think words mean.
I was here today. This musuem is located in Washington DC at the Smithsonain Musuem of Natural History
Also, that’s a huge chunk of yellow citrine right there I believe and that’s quality because surprisingly it’s been hard for me to find real ones that are yellow and not microscopic lol
Not 2 scoops of raisins, but 2 scoops of crystals.
Dude what gas stations are yall complainers going to that you can get gem scoops??? Wherever they are, I need yall to bring them to oregon!
I remember the little velvet bags that some shops would put a flat price on and you could get as many rocks/crystals as you could fit
That's the only confetti I will ever need!
I would love a scoop. Or two...or three... or.... 😅
Love it. Makes my soul feel warm 😊
It's so sad u get so little in these countries. In south africa we get almost an entire bag of great confetti scoops like bracelets necklaces ect for like 1$. And it's like rlly good quality.
is it safe down there?
@@kurrvana8124
I'm dutch, i can only give an outsider perspective based on things i've read/watched and some conversations with people from south afrika. For what it is worth: S.A. is in the top 20 of most violent countries in the world. Not the safest place you could go.
That said: like most countries there are safe places and unsafe places.
If you stick to the safe places you'll probably be fine and have a great experience. It's a magnificently beautyfull country after all.
@@kurrvana8124 no lol
I immediately thought of Scratch Patch! We have a few around Cape Town, I'm not sure how common they are in the rest of South Africa... Imagine this x500, you can choose a container size, pay for the container, and then fill it up with whatever you want to.
probably because these stones need to be imported to the US, whereas in South Africa most precious stones could be easily shipped in over land
I’m sorry but the way you say scoop is just so funny to me 😂
Why do you have to clarify??
*Picks up ones I like the look of and puts them in the scoop one by one*
My eyes got glued on a tiger eye the entire time.
So many memories with those from when my dad was still alive. Kind of makes me want to collect more of them.
Whenever I flew Southwest in Tx, most of them had great barrel of polished stones, and I treated myself to a bag Every time❣️❣️❣️
“We absolutely do not slap anyone’s hands” 😂😂 The fact that she even needed to make this statement is proof that the public education system is failing miserably. The lack of common sense & critical thinking skills is wild.
Those rocks are so pretty! Im used to those buckets being full of weird dyed ones lol
“Are your kids well-behaved, or do they need, like, a few light slams every now and then?”😂😂
Quote from Mrs. Doubtfire.
Honestly anybody that knows anything would know even the sound of them you can tell they're real stones keep up your great work and don't let people get you down
People are overrated.
How much you wanna bet those "negative" comments were bots training their algorithms lmao
She says dalmatian jasper, as if it's rare.... 😂
That's one expensive barrel of crystals there, I'd say the person scooping them up is getting a pretty good deal 👍🏻
Omg this comment section is making me laugh lol
that was a tap at most, ive been hit harder for stealing m&m from anyone i know
The fact that y’all showed up as I’m getting ready for my college day, and an event is by far the most beautiful thing that could ever happen to me. Thank you RUclips algorithm god’s!
I would prefer to hand select my scoop, even if it's less than I would get, I want to get what I like
What’s wrong with slapping hands?
I need a jasper for my stardew valley museum
As someone who used to work in a candy store, wanting to do that... would be so nice! Both kids and adults stick their hands into the candy without thinking and it can be so gross!
Luckily most of the time it's the wrapped candy... but still it makes me think twice when buying at candy stores, knowing what I've endured 😅
The negativity should focus on how terribly unethically sourced all that is..
I want All the blue and green ones with a touch of any purple that's in there! 🤩
I was staring at that Dalmation Jasper and you just called me out bro lol
Me: ooo dalmatian jaspers are my favorite and there's so many
The video: *talks about the dalmatian jasper*
bro I want one of these so bad 😭😭
I think we should stop pandering to the community of individuals who are perpetually angry at everything or are extra triggered by everything.
We should just ignore them.
Also…nvm
I’m confused, those don’t look like confetti?
It because it’s a bunch of different colors
this is the kind of thing that got me into crystals
Wow, not much comments😅
I went to a place that had something like this before! I just picked out the crystals I wanted and filled up the scoop one by one haha😂
I saw one of these at stone Mountain and the kids were surrounding it with their sticky hands touching everything....I literally just kept walking because at that point I definitely didn't want them
Are we allowed to handpick whatever we can and we can only get what fits in the scoop????
Man these barrels were so strangely enticing as a kid, I knew that even if I got them I would probably never look at them ever again but something about it stole the entire focus of my little adhd brain lmao
Lmfaoooooooo
I see kids do something similar to our candy section. Gross ass hands full of boogies, ass scratches, cough in the hands or in the air children (ew) all I do is scream from across the store & they jump. Lmfao. It’s an amazing project to have, yelling at kids😍
WHERE IS THAT ?? I NEED THOSE CRYSTALS!!!!
Washington DC
Thank you so much @@MsTinkerbelle87
I 100% believe that it's real because even if you just go into your backyard look for some Stones if you polish them right they look amazing and if you actually know what you're looking for you might find an amazing find
Woman that is not confetti. Those are rock minerals. Kids dont even know how to use a scoop now either. 🤦♀️
There was always those at like any giftshop at museums and aquariums and i dont think my parents ever bought me one but it would hold my attention playing in the rocks long enough that i didn’t end up looking around to find something to make them buy.
Looks great ❤
No ppl are negative today and so judgmental but remember they don't matter the ones who love you're crystals will always stay ❤
Maybe the kids just like putting their hands in, I know I would like to, the texture seems very interesting tactile experience and who cares if kids scoop a little with enthusiasm isn’t the point to create happiness.
GenX watching that and wondering when we were gonna see the slap. That was not a slap. Lmao.
I’m just saying the gas station ones were all I ever wanted as a kid. I wasn’t allowed to tho cuz I tried to eat them once.
Now that I’m 18 tho, I have 5 different rock collections. I have a serious problem. Half of them are literally just rocks. Not even crystals literally just rocks from outside
No such thing as just rocks. The plain rocks outside are just as important in the history of earth as the shiny, cristally or even gemmy stones.
Imo, plain rocks deserve some love too.
Looks like a great place ❤
Omg o live crystals i realized I can’t find my entire box of crystals and I can’t get more until I find my box but I love crystals I’m gonna beg my parents to take me back to lost river so I can possibly get another arrowhead and more crystals 😅
I'm gonna go to your shop one day, I would love to get some crystals from you guys^^
I want all the crystals ❤😍
I fell in love with those dark blue rocks with mica or whatever in them. Oh man they're beautiful, I filled my bag with those. 😒 Lol
My mom is into spiritually and got me into it, so whenever we go to a crystal shop in the mall she told me to not touch anything bc my energy would get on it
Tho shops like this most likely have oil to clense your crystals some stores don't
What?
I clicked this short because I thought the top of her head was shaved around her ponytails 😂
Yeah all those colors look natural 👍
I love rock n minerals and hate when places include just dyed quartz n shid. Don’t get me wrong dyed quartz can look pretty but personally it feels cheap so hey props to having all natural~!
It's also important to keep in mind that many of these crystals come from exploited regions where workers are paid little to nothing, and the local environment is decimated by crystal mining operations ✌️
Go hug a tree.
Why just why ❤❤❤❤
Hi 👋
Don’t apologize to idiots.
*ROCKS* _I want them all_
I would only scoop one as a kid too 😅
Not me at 25 that avoids crystal shops because I will shove my finger into every bowl of crystals 😂 I’m worse than my 3yr old
My daughter would love that
My daughter is OBSESSED with rocks! Please tell me you're in Georgia, lol. She would love this
It's in Canada! 😢
@@green.-.chinchilla3600 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
My cat slaps me like that. He would probably use that confetti for something else though 😅
Well, thanks to this video, I'm planning a trip to Kitchener. 😊❤
Am I the only one who was taught self-constraint? Parents dont stop their kids? My mom would have stopped me and reminded me that this is something that a lot of people want. So we take a few and share with everyone else. Are these lessons not being taught anymore?!
I think what you guys are doing is an amazing idea (not the jokingly hand slap although I agree with it). It is so creative and the hand scoop is 100% necessary because kids and adults are gross (speaking as a wife, a mother, and a human being lol)
Hey Annie!
Can you share the link of the mini drilling machine 😊it would be very helpful for my craft projects ❤
Omg those crystals look beautiful do you
have a shop if umdo were is it
located?
❤
People got mad over that little slap? Thats so sad, thats so stupid 😦
That’s how I pay my friend’s head?? that ain’t no slap 😭😭😭
Its definitely a sensory thing. Im sure the kids are putting there hands in it because they want to know what it feels like. As would i.
My mom has lightly slapped my hands out of those rock bins, i didn't see the original video but that's what i thought of when i saw the clip. My mom is not violent at all but shiny things get 10000% of my attention so she would sometimes have to swat at me to get me to come back to reality lol. I love my mom 😂💜💜
No, she didn't have to. There were other ways, I promise. You obviously get to feel however you want to feel about it, I'm just saying that she made a choice.
