I have two color resins when I do it. I use a pure black resin and a green/ purple colorshift in another cup. I start by pouring some of the black and then pour in the colorshift. It gives it a much more space like appearance and when you hold it up to light, it becomes even cooler.
Beautiful! I love interference powder. But my absolute fav brand Colorarte/OR Primary Elements. Yes it's a bit more expensive but well worth it. Highly pigmented. The shimmer is amazing from the interference powder nothing compares! Thanks for sharing p.s. with you having a wood turning channel that does so many resin and wood projects. I would be willing to bet if you reached out to them they would send you one of their kits at no charge
I would love to see wands made from wood and resin with the nebula effect - could be very cool to see - great for the Harry Potter fans out there that want a wand with a bit of pizazz to them!

G’day Zac, I have the wood planks...both ready to resin...I have the resin...but not enough confidence to mix and pour. I am a bit puzzled with making a mold as whether to use timber, or look for a supplier of Melamine here in Victoria Australia. So...the beautiful timber slabs I have spent lot of time preparing, are sitting idle on my bench. I shall endeavour to get up the courage to get going. Can you suggest a product to stop the project sticking to the base and sides of the mold? I attend word working classes in our little town and there are some lovely helpful people here...but....too many chiefs and not enough indians make the advice a bit overwhelming. Thanks Zac, I love watching your videos ...you are easy to follow.....Ruth Manning, Australia. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
For those like me, crafting on a very tight budget, you can get holo/colour shifting powders in the nail polish/makeup section of drug stores. (I live in Germany, and got some at dm and at Tedi Discount, marketed as chrome effect nail powders. The ones from Tedi Discount come in a set of 2, blue-ish purple and blue-ish green, for €3. The ones I got from dm are from Carice in a set of 3 for around €7.95. The holo nail powder is (imho) rubbish for nail effects (lol) but awesome for crafting. The colourshift powder (blue/purple) is awesome for both, and the chrome is WOW. Seriously messy tho, which is why I think it's easier to use for crafting than nail art.) Definitely want to try this out with the (also messy) superfine glitter and the resin kit I recently bought and some pendant moulds.
You cant find holo like that in random drug stores here in the states. That kind of stuff is online its called Holographic Flakes . They have all kinds of other stuff and YES it is awesome for nail effects!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Nail art IS crafting ....just on a small scale, doesnt make it any less ..Im so offended lololol
