0:33 wait, that's the sand pit 😮? That's hardpack, not my idea of a sandpit 🙂. The sandpit we raced through this past Saturday was like 5 inches deep of very loose sand, I didn't see anybody ride through it, and certainly not me 😀.
i feel like picking racers off throughout is mentally way easier than starting strong and losing steam, personally... but that's in cat 4 where they don't pull lolol
I’ve tried both methods, and for me, starting super hard and slowly fading back always yielded better results than starting easier and picking people off. Just depends on your individual strengths.
Will, if you want to win, you've got to have a flashier team kit than that one. It's worse than Uno X! Apart from that, love the vids, would love to see more power data (and data in general) analysis as we go. Looking forward to the next one
"Cross is hard"? Come to New England. Every weekend a national champ (current or former) or two or three of them (current 60/65/70+ masters) show up to make an average weekend "nationals caliber" - not to mention the other 5/6 guys who have all finished top 10 at Nattys. So, even when you got good legs, ride a clean race, never give less than 100%, you still finish 15th and crossresults give you a shit score. Now that's "hard" - on one's confidence.
As a former mid-school bmx kid, it's cool to see Haro in the grown-up-bike space. Saw one of their Rivette road bikes at Gateway Cup last month.
My first bike was a haro, they're for sure part of the reason I'm in the sport!
Very cool......it is SO hard.....your form and style look great.....nice work on the barriers!
😊 🙌

I think you meant...BETTER than Uno X 🤣🤣🤣 I'll try and add some power data in next one, it's always pitiful for cyclocross!
0:15 good on you. Injuring someone else is horrible.
Didn't want that one on the conscious

16th is pretty good - just ask Dylan Johnson ;-)
Well done! I'd probably break bones in my own body doing this kinda stuff. Hard pass for now...
When are you going to get Jeff in a CX race?
it is going to take some convincing!!
@@williamrhardin That would be a great video!!
More bicep curls and sugar water
