True however it’s a huge decision for him to go professional. Going professional is breaking the law in cuba and so for him to go pro he would have to defect and maybe leave his family behind. Also if caught trying to defect and go pro I believe he would be banned from even boxing amateur. Tough decision and honestly a sad law.

Cuba have this style in boxing that works really well but in the pro game it’s a different story
I disagree. Cuba has put out quite a bit of good to great pros. The problem is they come over too old. And they burn out quicker than other fighters.
Pro boxing is a business , skill and talent dont matter in this level, All that matters is money and marketing
Cuban gov pays them well to make it worth their while to compete only at international tournaments
