Great Northern Diver at 3000mm

  • I photograph a Great Northern Diver or Common Loon at 2000mm equivalent using Olympus 150-400mm and the 2x teleconverter and the Om-1, and film at 3000mm equivalent at 4K using the Panasonic GH6 pixel to pixel mode.
    I explain how that works out to be 3000mm (and 6000mm in HD) in this video:

    EDIT: The Great Northern Diver does not breed in Loch Maree as I suggested, I was thinking of the Black Throated Diver! The Black Throated Diver only breeds occasionally in the Scottish Highlands.
