1:07 Hey Longshot, I’m a big fan of you and your friend Growling, just wanted to say thanks for all the work! I just wanted to point out that at seven seconds past one minute, there’s a spelling error of “Doe to lack of…”, rather than “due to…”. Such an easy thing to do, I prefer to use the “Grammarly” app/program. To double-check my work. Just a suggestion. Anyway, keep up the good work mate! 🇦🇺
I really enjoyed the cinematography, think you’ve been working really hard at this and that deserves credit. Constructive Feedback, especially as a fan: It’s hard to believe that a NATO base near Russia/USSR, would; 1. Allow itself to run low on fuel; & 2. Have no patrolling aircraft with HVTs on the ground. 3. That Patriot wouldn’t see a drone, maybe a live satellite feed would be a better option? Obviously satellites aren’t a DCS asset, but that can be overcome with some cool effects or use a drone’s view and call it a satellite feed. We know there’s limitations in DCS, and we wouldn’t nitpick that. Maybe more likely if it was deep in NATO territory? 4. Myself, and a few others, noted, what happened to those Patriot missiles? We saw you defeat the Hawk missiles. Would be nice to see how you defeated such a formidable system like Patriot missiles, even the old ones. 4.a maybe it’ll make more sense if it were a NASAM battery? Those missiles from a ground level, standing position with their reduced range and much easier to defeat than Patriots. 5. Why two SAM types also? 6. Just double-check spelling and “doe”, but in some other videos the grammar is off and could use improvement. Again, this is constructive feedback, not criticism. My son and I are big fans. I’ve been watching, following and liking your videos for many years. I’m also on your discord, I’m a published author, if you want some feedback on videos or whatever, I’ll always volunteer my services. Keep up the good work! David,
Sorry, this is such an unrealistic scenario. There is no way that two Russian aircraft could loiter above that airfield for anywhere near that length of time with only one Patriot missile being fired. The Mig's RWR receiver was pegged well before it reached the airfield. You cannot tell me that no Patriot missile would be launched before the Mig reached the airfield.
Agreed, also, whatever happened to those Patriot missiles that were fired? We saw the Hawk battery defeated, but not the Patriots? Also hard to believe that a NATO base near Russia/USSR, would; 1. Allow itself to run low on fuel; & 2. Have no patrolling aircraft with HVT on the ground. Maybe if deep in NATO territory?
Call me strange but I enjoyed this more than sitting in cinema in 1986 and watching Top Gun for the first time! It was more than amazing! Direction and camera, I loved everything about that. Wonderful! Thank you very much!
@@bonkIer1 well, both were propaganda but I had fun to watch in 1986. The new one, I gave a pass and didn't even watch. Now we have better things to watch thanks to LongShot or GrowlingSidewinder.
Pretty cool video and I know that you have a diverse base and which you have to supply. The F-16 would know the boundaries. I just can't see a Russian air base that close even right from takeoff Russian flankers being able to see a. NATO no matter where it is air base that seem to be already engaged 🤔 so close. You can see it right at takeoff.
I Love your videos @LongShotChannel!! The cinematics are fantastic, the realistic feel as well. And I love the love you show for redfor planes, which I like as well. You could do a tutorial on camera angles and takes like these.
A DCS movie produced by Longshot? CLICK. (I haven't even watched it yet - I'm just excited by the concept given the fact that Longshot is the God-tier DCS cinematographer)
I was NOT disappointed! Well done, man. The narrative was clear, soundscape was excellent, shot selection was great... Only thing that could have made it better is a blooper reel at the end with you ragging on GS for stuffing up a take! >D
Had me interested straight from the beginning. The start with the black background and the embers to your cinematic was sick. Like I said yesterday champ, they look amazing. Creates a really cool movie like experience. Love how the focus on the camera goes unfocused to focused in different shots. Really love it man, so keep it up. Really, really cool video dude.
I think there might be one or two ADA commanders who will be losing their jobs and their commissions with the allowance of this kind of two-ship popup...

@daviddoyle982 thank you, cheers!
This was very, very well made and a lot of fun! Perfect for some peace and quiet time at the "office"!!! Keep em coming
Thank you very much
You know, is there one thing your audience love, it's AAA tracers, AA missiles and flak!!! The more, the better!!!
Definitely a change up in content. I definitely would like to see some more videos like this.
Thank you
Wow, you do have a talent of making DCS cinematic!
I appreciate it man
Significantly a better move than "Madame Web"... Well done!
Definitely more entertaining! 😀
I love the short movie format. It’s a lot better than watching someone take out sitting ducks all the time.

David,
While completely unrealistic (Russian drone near airbase not being detected, Nato F-16 utterly incompetent), still a lot of fun to watch.

Never have i seen such high production values on a russian propaganda film.
The BEST DCS channel! ‼️🔥
Но самое страшное- «голубые на хвосте»🫣👍👍😁😁😁😁😁

DOE i loved it. Excellent framing and camera work.
Top notch editing and cinematics, I really enjoyed this one
Thank you very much
That was intense!!! Nice work.
Thank you
Proofreading by a friend would be a good thing. A few mistakes kept this from being fantastic.
What do you mean?
@@LongShotChannel there are some typos and awkward phrases in the intro text.
Video is still 10/10!
Oh ok. Thank you
Is there typos?
@NavajoMX thanks man, I hope you in my Discord, I'll ask for your help in the next one

and then, the Russian pilot woke up from his dream. 😋
Cool editing and an amazing job, not a style i personally care for in dcs content but it's pretty badass regardless
WOW Longshot - that was different! Very cool dude. You've outdone yourself.... again
Very interesting and entertaining to watch. Gave me chills! 10/10
That's great to hear. Thank you
AMAZING
Thank you
That's a well earned like from the bottom of my heart. Bravo!
Bases THAT close? Hell, rocket assisted artillery or rockets would hit the other base. Unrealistic
Thanks Longshot, ingenious movie ❤
Thanks, cheers
Outstanding! Pure rapture!! Dynamic scenes are awesome!!!
Thanks
The outro is just the cherry on top 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
As a retired Army Aviator I can guarantee the AD systems wouldn’t let him get that close.
What a video... superb 🎉🎉🎉
Glad you liked it. Thanks
This was amazing!!!!!!! Well done Longshot!!! Absolutely incredible!!!!! 😤😤😤😤
Longshot the Flanker God 🍻
Longshot more of these!!!!! This was awesome 👏
Incredible!
I appreciate it buddy. Thanks
@@LongShotChannel how many hours did you spend editing it? It had to have taken quite a while
@Benbeebop yeah. A bit
Love the content lately. Excellent stuff. Have you considered a longer movie type video? Would be cool as all get out.
this was so cool, you are my favorite dcs youtuber LongShot !!!
What an edit! 👌
What? The "good guys" didn't win? Impossible! Thanks for the film!

I don't know if DCS included these new "smart" gliding FAB-500, but it would be great to see bombing exercise with them. Thanks!
Wonderful !!! This video-format is what we need 👌😊💪👏
Did you have the difficulty set to extra easy?
I think there might be one or two ADA commanders who will be losing their jobs and their commissions with the allowance of this kind of two-ship popup...
¡Jesús! .....Dude, You should work for those film companies in Hollywood, never seen any movie which such dynamic and dramatic air combat scene :)
Wow such a fantastic short mission thank you LS you make my day. Niceeee & awesome
Thanks
@LongShotChannel The movies are dope. Keep them coming.
So cool👍👍
Thanks
I wish if it lasted a little longer. Maybe do some seed next time, of course from the Russian side.
You definitely have a knack for editing! Good work!
Wow it was so good. I would really like more of these. Eagerly waiting
"Due" to lack of fuel...
best video I've seen so far. Great job!
How did you manage to evade the Patriot defenders?
I love when you do these!
EPIC! I´m excited for the next one!
man, your videos are the best! love the 27!!
LS, while your spelling and grammar is a bit wonky, your cinematography is spot on!
Bravo Zulu sir !!! Thanks for the AWESOME cinematic DCS content, more please 🙏
Thanks so much
Awesome! Longer stories Please!❤🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸❤
That is exactly what I want to see 👍. Would be even better if it was a little bit longer.
Dude, that was badass.
Great movie. Awesome shots
I cannot believe this Russian propaganda! Surely NATO will not take this sitting down… Great vid :)
This was BITCHIN!!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Even though I’m American. Lol. Top notch Brother!!
DEFINITELY KEEP MAKING SHORT MOVIES!
How i love the flanker ❤
In and Out, 8 minute adventure. -Solenya.
Great movie, please make more like this.
Try that again but with 3 sets of Rheinmetall Skyshield systems in place.
Go-go-go!!!!
wow! this is epic stuff!
Thank you very much
Very cool. Just rather see American's winning but that is not how it always goes.
good movie making, no point defense and total lack of AAA, like no C-RAMS is not realistic.
Based cinematics 👍
Very nice video, editing, all around awesome little short movie, definitely a non fictional movie right? Lol. Very nice man
Thank you that was Fantastic
