Very good channel - thank you for all your hard work in putting the channel together, there's so much information on here. This bus in question itself is awful though, that rattling would have driven me crazy. I own a 47 year old bus and it doesn't rattle at all like this bus does.
Where is this - Wirral peninsular? I've been on the bus from Chester to Birkenhead when crossing the country from South to North. Cheshire is a nice county for bus riding, but you need to be timetable savvy - some routes are schooldays only, others are certain days of the week, and increasingly across the nation there is a growing tendancy towards pre-booked dial-a-ride. All these kind of routes are where you see plenty, may never get to go there again, and far from busy main roads. So it's worth making the effort.

These Enviro400 engine sounds more gentle than those older E400 with Trident 2 chassis. Is that actually true?
