Unbelievable that they don't chop some trees and fill those swampy potholes, or bury some carefully placed rocks under the mud. It would take less time, cost less, and the labor would be better organized, into manageable chunks. They might also pack some cowboy food of salted dried beef. The way they have it, every trip is the same swampy road, cable repair, winch repair, engine repair, chassis repair. Wouldn't it be easier to repair the road? If everyone who used it chipped in something each time, it would be a lot more usable, the repairs should last for years, and the skill in making repairs would improve to the point where maintenance isn't hard.
