Use RM Sig LC on Harmony Trailblazer instead of Ruan Mei. And for Ruan Mei herself give her Memories of the Past. Because Harmony Trailblazer regenerates it's ult faster than Ruan Mei, so you can trigger RM Sig LC more often. And Memories of the Past is actually better for RM because of her energy issues

I used a similar team (using Silver Wolf instead of Tingyun) to take out Kafka in MoC12. Low key worked really well. I gave Welt S5 Pearls to further buff everyones' break damage and I think the enemies took maybe one turn each. The Welt tech where you can ult after they use 1 turn to cancel all their bonus turns is pretty fun. Ruan Mei did the least direct damage on the team. Everyone else was smacking for 6 digits no problem, lol.
I have a challenge for you - since you're goofing around with new TB and Ruan, try to get the highest possible BE in Simulated Universe. My personal best is 586BE on Ruan in GnG, I rly want to see others try and hit them big numbers :3
I’ve already been using Welt here and it is a MASSACRE for the other side. If you can handle a couple turns w/o HTB ult, you can then opt to basic and use Xueyi as well with Welt for a boat load of damage, or Gallagher for heals & FAT breaks, and HTB can opt for more skills for multi hits. 8.5/10 personally
Ive been using a similar team but Ruan, Robin, Welt and gallagher which feels insane its always my turn and now that I see this it might enhance the strategy even further lol (FYI I run slow robin with vonwaq so she can buff 1st turn and slow so she can generate her ult last even in auto and also it generates more skill points dmg for the team) if I want faster ult i just swap belt to energy rather than attack %
Gonna mention this again, MONO LANDAU. Gepard, Lynx, and Serval. If you want the 4th spot filled, use a Belobog character (Hook, Bronya, etc). Basically a Serval hypercarry, I did this to beat Aventurine for the first time :)
Instead of Tingyun you could use Asta for infinite turns. Just might have some sp issues as Welt or HMC will need to use some normals. Welt can get 400+ spd though.
"Welt sustain" is the biggest lie HSR theorycrafters ever told the fandom. You can delay enemies, sure, but you can't delay them forever. Eventually they WILL take a turn and kill you. It only works for whales with eidolons and signature cones, that can afford to kill enemies before they take a turn.

That's why they call him a pseudo-sustain, in a sense he sustains the team by not letting the enemy move but of course it is temporary, the reason people use him as a psuedo-sustain is that welt's damage scaling is actually quite high as a sub-dps and helps team that needs debuff like acheron or ratio. Using welt instead of a standard sustain helps with dps loss(unless you have aventurine) and would help your dps have more turn.
It's not that unfeasible as you think (or seem to think, based on your comment). Welt Sustain works on interrupting enemy turns and delaying them, so they take as few turns as you can. You can interrupt and skip pretty much every elite and boss special mechanic with this; big ones I remember from the top of my head are pretty much every move that spawns additional trash mobs (like soda monkey), Kafka's mind control, SAM's Scorched Earth Operations, even Aventurine's gambling. Those are either the most damaging, or the most harmful in other ways, abilities, and with Welt you can just say "No, don't want to deal with that". While I agree that he isn't a true sustain, the way Luocha, Aventurine or Fu Xuan are, Welt can and will work - your team won't be unharmed, you may have close calls and maybe restart a couple of times because of bad RNG, but he is able to make it so your team is alive while the boss isn't. I am F2P, but I use Welt Sustain for fun (because it is fun) and occasionally profit (I literally cleared MoC 11-12 with him on the latest 3 resets, and it wasn't that hard)

@@GodDoggos not only against 1-2 enemy they break bars so fast but also you can kinda lap the enemy and dont allow it attack (i use gepard's stun to stop enemy recovering instead of ruan mei or welt)

Well, I don't know if the game rounds the numbers up or down, so I don't know if we need 1001 or 2001 speed to actually get 0 action value because 1000 speed is actually 1 action value
