    Update to the video, I have Cool Orange running in IV2023 and 2024, you can follow the steps from this video, but change the numbers to "29" instead of the "27" referenced in the video: ruclips.net/video/br8fUCDt8Vw/видео.html

      something to remember, Thread Modeler no longer works in Inventor after 2020, it might in 2021, but it does not in 2022

    Great Video! What if you were cutting thread relief into either the bolt or the nut? At what step would you add the thread relief?

    This video has been a huge help to me. The instructions for making the changes to Cool Orange has been updated to include Inventor 2025. How can I get a copy of that spreadsheet showing all of the thread data? Is that available somewhere?

    For some reason cool orange makes the threaded hole a lot smaller than it should be (0.275 inches instead of 0.375). why is that?

    3:36 I don't understand the chamfer part that doesn't make any sense

    • @adventurefilms
      @adventurefilms  Год назад

      John, if you don't combine the solids, the chamfer will only cut through whatever "solid" you sketeched on, or you will have to remember to cancel the solid selection and then hold control while you choose both solids... but unless you have a reason to keep the threads as a separate solid just combine them

    This tool is ok,but is not so great,because you must take some thinks "manually".(you must have the list with diameters...).On fusion 360 all of these,is automatic,and more more simple

    A new threadmodeler has been released. It is colored orange as well. Its called Fusion360. Inventor is dead. Move on

    • @adventurefilms
      @adventurefilms  5 месяцев назад

      Yep, I use Fusion as well, however a lot of the projects I work on are custom iLogic parts/assemblies I have created, so for those Inventor is still required. If Fusion ever gets a full version of iLogic, I will consider moving over, but until then, Inventor it is.
