I really enjoy Brome Bird News. It is uncommonly informative, has beautiful bird videos, and I like Tatsiana's enthusiastic, clear style. I learn from every episode. Also, you are unafraid to discuss controversial topics (like the current bird name changes) and even cringy ones (why crows flock around their dead brethren). Btw, I own 3 of your Squirrel Buster feeders, durable well-designed/made products that work well, are easy to clean, and actually do bust squirrels (love to watch them slide of the feeders into the snow).
Death: Three years ago, after an absence of several months, a crow returned to our yard to die from West Nile disease. How did I know it was the same crow? It was only that Spring that we had our first ever crow on the ground in our very urban yard.
That is so sad about birds always being afraid of being killed and that they die. I hate seeing a dead bird or worse, a pile of dove feathers because a hawk got them. That is a horrible story you told.
Birds should never have been named after people. If someone didn't spot a species first, someone else surely would have. I support making birding a more inclusive activity for people of all backgrounds.

We also find it rather stressful seeing a bunch of feathers, especially around our bird feeders.
