Today I'm going to show you how to put on your ninja uniform. So to start off with, there are five key elements to the Ninja Uniforms:
1- Ninja Gi
2- Ninja Gauntlets
3- Ninja Pants
4- Ninja Black Belt
5- Ninja Utility Belt
We will start with the Gi. For this, you want to put it on just like you'd put on a regular jacket, one arm at a time. Then open the right side flap and grab the inside draw string with your right hand. After, wrap the left side of the ninja jacket across your body and tie the two strings together. Then wrap the right side of the ninja jacket around your body and tie the two drawstrings together.
Next, let's move on to the traditional ninja gauntlets. Note, at the end of the ninja gauntlets, you will see a loop. This is where your middle finger will go through. Slide on the gauntlets over your Gi sleeve and make sure your middle figure goes through the loop. Pull up to tighten. Do the same to the other gauntlet on the other sleeve.
Next, we will put on the Ninja Pants. There are two ways you can wear these, you can have the drawstrings in front or behind. Personally, I have them in the back of the ninja pants, so that is what I will be showing in this video.
As always, put the pants on one leg at a time over your regular pants. Then take the two drawstrings on the side and firm pull forward and then back. Tie a double knot behind your back to lock the ninja pants in place. Then tightly tie the drawstrings located at the bottom half of your legs.
Next, we will put on the Black Ninja Belt. There are many different ways to tie a martial arts belt. For this video, I will show the basic ninjitsu style that I learned 10 years ago.
And finally, you will put on your Ninja Mask. Slide it over your head like so, then find a mirror to adjust the ninja mask to make sure it is fully covering your forehead and bridge of your nose.
