The brown color happens when you mix all three primary colors (red, yellow, blue) together. It happens when you put blue next to orange (which is red + yellow), red next to green (blue + yellow) or yellow next to purple (red + blue). Be careful to only put primary next to primary, or a secondary color (purple, orange, green) next to one of its component primaries. NEVER put two secondaries side-by-side where they can blend - unless you want brown!
I Love that you're dryer is ok because you're husband doesn't use it!!! I hear ya!!! I Love the way it turned out!!! PLUS, it's So much cheaper than using fabric dye!!!
I have seen that using vegetable glycerin in another tutorial with the acrylic paint this opens up a whole new journey of acrylic painting on fabric I'm also going to try it on tote bags I don't know if it will work as well
Jamela Payne okay I’m just curious maybe I used too much water/glycerin because my colors came out 😭 would you have any tips for maintaining the colors?
I apologize I missed this question. But you need to make sure to let it Dre completely and also heat set it, you can throw it in the dryer once it dries completely or use a heat press to set it.
Beautiful!

Hello. Did you use the veg glycerin as an alternative to a fabric medium?
I have seen that using vegetable glycerin in another tutorial with the acrylic paint this opens up a whole new journey of acrylic painting on fabric I'm also going to try it on tote bags I don't know if it will work as well
Have you ever tried using a dull fork the reason I say dell is so that the fork doesn't poke holes in the shirt
Sorry for the late response but yes I did.
Very nice 👍🏽
What was the ratio of water and glycerin that you put in the cup before drawing the two tablespoons in the syringe to add to the acrylic paint
very helpful!
I luv your hair ⭐️
Thank you!
Does this cause any skin problems while using arcylics instead of dye?

How can I dye chiffon with acrylic paint
Looks good but can you do this in a polestar shirt
I don’t think you could.
What is the ratio for the water glycerin mix
Does the shirt have to be just cotton? Or can I use a cotton/poly blend?
Polyester is a synthetic fabric so I am not sure how well it will absorb the dye.
I want to do some letter stenciling on a tie dye shirt can I use straight acrylic paint or do I have to mix medium with it
You can use straight acrylic but it will be stiff once it dries.
@@JamelaPayne would it make any difference if I add some glycerin or should I use fabric paint...any suggestions
Glycerin softens the paint. But you could use fabric paint too.
@@JamelaPayne what fabric paint would you suggest to use and would I have to mix anything with it being I'm just doing stenciling
Did you ever throw it in the washing machine? Did the colors ever fade or come out?
Yes I did and no it doesn’t.

@@iamnotokay24 You have to headset the acrylic before washing. Iron it,put it in the dryer( after it's dry? or use a heat press.

How long do you put in dryer, high setting? Thank you the shirt was amazing 😍
Use a heater or fan
How much chycerine do you use?
There is a link to the instructions I think it was 3 parts water to 1 part glycerin. But I don’t remember off the top of my head.
