One of the Covid lockdown sessions. I've been haunted by this since hearing the original Manu Chao on my local independent radio station several years ago. So delighted by The Big Push version. How about their Fat Boy Slim cover of "Praise You"? Thanks for sharing!

The original was by Manu Chao on his album "Clandestino" (1998). It was released as a single in 1999, with "Je ne t'aime plus", "Mr. Bobby", and "Bienvenido a Tijuana" on the B-side. The next track after "Bongo Bong" on the album is "Je ne t'aime plus", the verse in French that Romain performs, though Romain changes the lyrics a bit. As far as I know, The Big Push have the only arrangement that returns to "Bongo Bong" in the outro.
