I don’t own a C250 (I have a C63) but I love your videos. Obviously the engines are different but the electrical and ICE stuff you do is awesome. Thanks!
Flexx Alexander Looking forward to the builds. I really should vlog the wide body I’m doing on my C63; it is as interesting as it has been frustrating.
Flexx Alexander Haha I’ll try. The worst part is wheel options you know. When you have like infinite possibilities to stuff inside your rear fenders you spend hours every night after work looking at wheels. I think I’ve chosen though; will be nice to have an 11-12” out back for traction that’s for sure.
Flexx, you are doing an amazing job with the C250. I'm only running a K&N filter on my C250 engine mods. I've gone ahead and ordered a new set of Staggered(18x8 and 18x9) Avant Garde M310's (GunMetal with machine face) with Nitto's NT 555's G2. Really exited to have these on my ride in the next week or so.
I just installed mines but I have a p0068 code and it seem like you have a small tube on the red clip on part where you plug it in on the sliver one at the top. I was wondering where do I get that small tube from?
When removing the clamp underneath, use a socket with a long extension instead of a screwdriver, won't slip off like a screwdriver, much easier to do. Even a big hand dude can do it.
hey flex, installing a similiar intake, but even though i loosened that clamp on the bottom, the intake tube doesnt come out, it feels stuck, wondering if it was really that easy for you?
Yes it is. I have a 2013 Coupe with the Sports Package. The C250 came with the 1.8 Liter 4 Cylinder Turbo with Direct Injection up through 2014. 2015 they upped the engine to 2.0 Liters.
Looking to get a 2013 Mercedes Benz C250, can you tell me what mechanical problems I should expect from this vehicle. The more common ones you have came across.
I have the 2015 c250 and my cylinder 1 ignition coil went bad along with my fuel pump. I’m lucky as hell because my original warranty covered the associated costs otherwise I would have had to pay a few grand to replace the fuel pump
Definitely ain’t no placebo effect. Plus for the lower price then an OEM stock one...you get a stronger, more durable, better looking product. Hell im gonna sell my stock one on eBay and that basically lowers the overall cost of buying the tornado tuning version.
Hey Flex question on the different intake upgrades, more so Silicon vs Aluminum. I get the whole heat dissipating deal, my question is Silicon actually BETTER for the MAF sensor? I’ve heard the aluminum vibrates it and cause improper A/F ratios
To your point on vibration, aluminum is not that great if it's 1 entire piece. That's why the new intake in my video is a hybrid. There's some aluminum for it's benefits, and there's silicone in the bends for it's benefits. I would go with some flexible all day long over something solid...but if you can get a hybrid, get the hybrid.
If I got one, I would mention it in the video. I don’t hide anything. If you got a check engine light, then pull the fault and see what the issue it. Could be anything and could be unrelated to the pipe unless whoever installed it didn’t do it right or didn’t plug the sensors right, or didn’t disconnect the battery when removing the sensors. Again, go get the check engine fault pulled cause that will tell you what’s causing the light. No point in wasting time and guessing.
@@TheFlexxGarage at 2:30 min small tube You also have another video describing that it could difficult to take off and don’t know if they sell just that tube by itself. Anyways what comes out of that if it’s broken? Do I need to add oil ?
Hey can the bov diverter be obnoxious? I read apparently it opens randomly at times without taking your foot too much off the throttle and was just wondering whether to go for dv+ or the bov version
Yes and no. Depends. I drive normal and sometimes I get spurts of wooosh but I like to listen to loud music so it doesn’t bother me. Some people can’t stand all the woooshing and will go with a regular DV+ instead.
Just installed it today and damn I absolutely love it. It’s just the right amount of woosh and really makes it stand out. But anyways love your videos man keep it up and goodluck with the C63 we’ll hopefully might be seeing on this channel.
Hey flex I install a GFB bv on my benz e250 w212 cgi but I'm not getting any response in terms of hearing the sneeze making any sound, I stall the valve and it sounds like the oem valve, can you give me any advice?
Don’t know. The copper piston on it could be stuck. But the question is…did you install a GFB DV+ or did you install a GFB VTA. Cause the DV+ is not a blow off valve. The VTA is the blow off valve. I already did videos on both of these.
Psi doesn’t always equal more performance. That’s just the air pressure within the piping. Effective Airflow and air temperature is waaaaay more effective as a measure of increase in power. You can have all the pressure in the world but if the air isn’t cold, you’re not gonna going to get added performance. My boost gauge is was mainly installed to measure turbo pressure so I don’t run too much boost and blow up my engine because the stock internals can only take so much since they are not built up.
Aloha Braddah Flexx🤙🏾 I was wondering where did you purchased the intake duct? Yours looks a lot better than the stock one that comes with the C250. Been searching for a while now, please help if can brah! Mahalo 🤙🏾
I bought the intake tube, but it isn't easy to line up. I installed the turbo section first. The clip is hard to tighten up. It kept slipping off when lining up. I gave up and going to take it to a mechanic better.
Hi Benjamin I have install more thank 20 sets with my hand this most hotest selling item and find is very funny it cannot be installed Very strange it got most sales world Wide
Just installed the Tornado intake with a box performance filter and looks awesome. Also I noticed improvement in the midrange. But the happiness lasted very short because today is the second day with the mod and I just blew the head gasket while doing a 60-100mph acceleration 🤦🏾♂️ So the extra psi of boost that the intake gives you is not good for the car
Well, any legit mechanic can tell you that’s not true. A head gasket is not related to an air intake kit. An air intake does not add extra PSI. That’s a turbo’s job. Even if the air intake brings in more air, there’s sensors in the engine to prevent extra air going into your engine unless you tune the car to accept more air. There’s also a diverter valve to purge the extra air (if there’s truly more charged air going through the air system). Sucks what happened to you but you shouldnt be blaming an air intake kit (regardless who makes it). Even people who upgrade their turbos (a part that truly crams more air into their engine) don’t have head gaskets being blown.
I don’t own a C250 (I have a C63) but I love your videos. Obviously the engines are different but the electrical and ICE stuff you do is awesome. Thanks!
Thanks! That’s means a lot. I’ll have 2 new cars to mod coming 2020.

Nice bro! Those will look sick!
Where's the new turbo Flexx!? The suspense is killing me! LOL
thanks, they're actually a lot less priced than other resellers even oem and it seems to be better quality

Hi now we have ready stocks
cool stuff. good video. c250 is a turbo?
Yes it is. I have a 2013 Coupe with the Sports Package.

High pressure fuel pump... get one under warranty because they are notorious and that pump alone cost $700 alone
Camshaft sensor and the magnetic adjuster!
Can anyone tell me what connector that is at 2:08 he pulled out mine broke and needs replacement
im trying to figure this out also
The one with the red push pin ?
@@BC2FITTY yes do you know what it's called?
Bobby Bates it’s called a brake booster vacuum hose
Randel H .

Good vid homie, two thumbs up. not sure if I’m gonna try tht mod, But if I do I will consult this video. ONE!

I see! I know you had both versions of the tornado tuning intake, & aluminum has that unbeatable induction sound, hybrid for the win
The c250 doesn’t have a maf , only a map sensor
Hey buddy, great videos! can you tell me where did you get your heat shield that covers the cold air intake filter? cheers
That’s stock
Flexx which filter did you install? do you have a link?
I replaced exact same parts from “turnado
“. Did you get a check engine light after installing them? Because I did and why you did or didn’t

Where you get the tornado tuning silicone air intake pipe I look don’t see it where can I order one??!
As mentioned in the video, look in the video description for their contact info. You need to email/message them what you want.
Haha flex said flexible
Can you use this for a 2009 c300? If not, which do you recommend?
No. This is for the turbo c250 engine only. There's nothing available for the 2008-2014 c300 that I know of.

Did you ever find this? Ive been looking too
It’s from tornado tuning. You need to contact them directly to buy. Their contact info is in the video description.
Hi flex, I'm trying to order the intake but its not letting me do u know if something is wrong with th he website?
Thats strange. You are better off just sending an email to tornado tuning and tell them exactly what you’re looking for. They are quick to respond.
What exhaust do you have ???
Go watch my quad tip exhaust video.
Can this intake tube use for c300 2018?
Great video!
No. Not the same engine. There’s an intake tube in the works for a 2015+ c300. A few more weeks and I’ll make a video on it.
Where did you get that Tube ?
As mentioned in the video, look in the video description.
I bought the intake tube, but it isn't easy to line up. I installed the turbo section first. The clip is hard to tighten up. It kept slipping off when lining up. I gave up and going to take it to a mechanic better.
Wow!! Mercedes technician was unable to install either, I will need to asked for authorized return

Pretty good price compared to a replacement OEM plastic one (that doesn't have any performance improvements).
