I've been *steamrolled* by this band ever since I saw their first video _The Promethean_ in 2012 (it was uploaded to RUclips on 4.1.2012 at *Metal Hammer Official* channel). I immediately ordered their debut, _And So It Came To Pass_ (out 27.2.2012) , which is *amazing.* Frustratingly, it took over 5 years for their second album, _With All Their Might_ to come out (15.9.2017)... Definitely _one of the_ *most crushing* bands around! Hoping it doesn't take another 5 years for the next album...
I have heard that album on repeat so many times... I love it to death! Try anything by Archspire next..!! The track "Fathom Infinite Depth" would be an excellent choice!
8:34 is a comment that has stayed in my mind, and I just remembered a video about that phrase (and some other expressions) you guys should see, unless you have by now. The guy in the video is of course Finnish, in case you haven't heard about him (he has toured in North America and won a big contest in USA some years ago). So here's the link (ooh, 1.4 million views after 20 months!): ruclips.net/video/igh9iO5BxBo/видео.html (Hmm... it has English subtitles for some reason, maybe for the hearing impaired?)
Yes,Dyscarnate from the UK one of my favorite bands from that area. You guys should also check out their 2 earlier albums Enduring the Massacre and So it Came to Pass. Also don't forget about Entheos Perpetual Miscalculations,Entheos is another diamond in the rough
If persistence is the key then.... Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Eye of the enemy! Song - the paradigm of penance! \m/
My favorite ways to describe Dyscarnate are "big manly man testosterone metal," or "like getting slapped across the face by a 12oz ribeye." Surprisingly unique groove/death band and this song is super fun to play on guitar
Using your phrase, I also have a song you need to listen to:D I commented it some time ago. Dark Tranquillity-Lost to Apathy and the live version of it- Milan 2009, part of the Where Death is most alive DVD.
Nice reaction! Gonna check out Dyscarnate more, thanks to you two. Since I am writing a tad late, I already know your next video and it ain't for me, sad to say (RUclipsr Galacticriminal, also Canadian, reacted to it like a week ago). Anyway, persistent on Nitrogods - Rancid Rock ..! Time for some hard and dirty rock!
You need to check more death "whatever" bands : Benighted - Ad Patres - Dying Fetus - Aborted - Krisiun - Nile - Psychobolia - Putril Pile - Vital Remains etc etc
Do they only use 2 notes in all the other songs too? I mean you can make a song work with just that but i don't know. The guitarplayer in me was quite disappointed by the simplicity.
A&P-REACTS true true. Well I see you're having a love affair with Finnish metal XD. Have you tried Lordi yet? They basically like the Finnish Kiss-meets-GWAR if they played power metal. They won Eurovsion in 06. Look up Hard Rock Hallelujah if you wamt to some fun
Please react to And Then There Was Silence by Blind Guardian. Original version: ruclips.net/video/8CIfudW67zs/видео.html Live version: ruclips.net/video/Z_zPizmtsUk/видео.html
that's my shit :D heavy, dark and heavy......and dark \m/ >o< \m/ i saw it in your reaction that you like that so maybe you wanna give Dagoba - I Reptile a try you will not regret it ;)
I totally get that and saw the other reaction, too. They're classic technical death metal, if you're not into that, it's boring. My comment was meant somewhat ironic. Looking forward to the next one tho :)
May have confused Dying Fetus with Deicide on that comment, long time since I listened to pure Death Metal, so I'm going a bit senile in that department I think :p
the entire album is fucking epic.
THE BEST ALBUM last year!
ABSOLUTELY !!!!!!!
+1
Dyscarnate is my pick for album of the year. with all their might is so good. Listen to to end all flesh before me by them as well.
Tony Dept this song you recommended gets me HYPED AF!!!!!!!
I want to agree because they did indeed NAIL this shit..but for rythmic metal to get that award it has to be better.
Thanks guys;]
Great band, amazing song!!!
Oh yes , y'all made my day!
Tripp williams good choice dude! Loved this band for ages!!!!
Never heard a 3 man band where the bassist and the guitar player take turns to sing with different voices? Jmmmm..... DYING FETUS
Dyscarnate is the british dying fetus.
I prefer their vocals and sound in general.
Me too, and I love DF. But Dyscarnate is so much more.
666sicksatan666 great point man! Never thought of that. Both amazing bands.
Hummmmm Deeds Of Flesh :)

No three-piece band should be this fucking heavy, I absolutely love it.

This band is so incredible! But I would recommend "The Shift" for a first listen, its even more mindblowing
My favorite ways to describe Dyscarnate are "big manly man testosterone metal," or "like getting slapped across the face by a 12oz ribeye." Surprisingly unique groove/death band and this song is super fun to play on guitar

I like seeing reactions after a while and then seeing that these 2 awesome guys actually reacted to it!
Hail Dyscarnate! Good reaction 🤘
Using your phrase, I also have a song you need to listen to:D I commented it some time ago.
Dark Tranquillity-Lost to Apathy and the live version of it- Milan 2009, part of the Where Death is most alive DVD.
I second that. Dark Tranquillity is awesome live and that DVD is so good. But I think Final Resistance or ThereIn might be better choices :P
csabasilenoz Dark Tranquility is amazing
Nice reaction! Gonna check out Dyscarnate more, thanks to you two.

+NxtGenCJM not sure, we had plan it for this month but with bands outting out new videos it has pushed it back
NxtGenCJM Bad for good... Yes
Scar Symmetry - Limits to Infinity
Aether Realm - Death
Equilibrium - Rise again!!
Plague Years - Play the Victim
Not to be confused with the band Disincarnate from the early 90's which is way more bad ass!
Do they only use 2 notes in all the other songs too? I mean you can make a song work with just that but i don't know. The guitarplayer in me was quite disappointed by the simplicity.
Simplicity sometimes works. For this song it worked.
Boring and unimaginative, as most of those "deathcore" bands.
I didn't like this song either, too predictible and as someone said before me, boring. I hope their other songs are better.
not all bands need to be crazy prog tech death. sometimes simple grooves and heaviness work.
Waw...!! Waw...!! Like it... Love it...😱😱 Add to playlist 😍😍
Blood Red Throne - Gore Encore Please!!!!!! You have to listen this band!!!
Krisiun - Vicious Wrath
Do Archspire- Calamus will animate.
Yes. I've been request this song all over the place.
ARVEN - BELIEVE
Try Amaranthe. 6 man band. 3 of them vocalists. They are kimd of...dancy though. Not sure how up your alley it would be
We are actually familiar with them...not a huge fan I will say that much.
A&P-REACTS fair enough. Not everyone's cuppa. I find them intensely catchy
It is super catchy...I can take it in small doses.
Baddest Metallica shirt of all time!

We have done a video from Dying Fetus...didn't go well. LOL.
ughhh Dying Fetus.. maybe they have a couple of good songs but overall not too interesting of a band.
I have to agree with you Rebecca.
I totally get that and saw the other reaction, too. They're classic technical death metal, if you're not into that, it's boring. My comment was meant somewhat ironic. Looking forward to the next one tho :)
