Basically, trade by targeting a fixed percentage for growing and scaling the account and not aiming for fixed pips or profits.
@I'mBatmanI use a 2% risk as well as a 3% return per day to go in and out the market. In the end, all the little bits add up to a lot after a year.
@@IrajMatthee whew that takes guts. your win ratio hasta be over 60% I would expect.
@@leecowell8165 that's right. The idea is to get in and out fast the market to avoid any carry over fees as an added bonus which can eat into your profits over a year.

You could, of course, just use logic and common sense to identify that reducing losses and increasing profits is a +EV strategy! It is elementary bankroll management, yet sadly this is where most people fail. It sounds obvious, but....

I also had the idea to adjust the volume of the deal according to the current state of the account. And I thought that was a good idea, as it helps to avoid losing the deposit. But you showed that this adjustment after every trade also gives a higher profit. Thank you very much for your work!

I adjust my size position in a montly base. When the month close 2% of the total account will be my risk during the month , no mattering the individual results of The traders. When the month close I started the new value , if the account had a reduction , the value will reduce .

Strategy suggestion. TDI indicator, H1 timeframe, buy entry at the intersection of the green from the bottom up with the red, only when it is above the yellow line. Exit when the green line crosses the red line down.

Can you please test the volume profile strategy ? I've heard that it's the most reliable strategy because it's the only one that takes price volume into consideration
This is what I use for sports betting.
It is by and far the best way to manage risk and increase a bankroll.
Doing it any other way is insane and leaves alot of money on the table or exposes yourself to too much risk.

The biggest cavet that all of us forget is the human factor in this ,, we don't grow to get used to larger losses. If I start with 10000 and 2% risk my loss everytime is $200 but when the account becomes 20000 the same % loss is $400 . Which messes with most people Brain and make them not take a trade or close the trade early.
Which is why many experienced traders say to increase your risk per trade gradually as you get used to the new value

Being a software developer I decided to write all the rules I trade with into my software (started writing Feb. 2021 and just started using it Dec 2021) including adjusting the amount risked. It was clear to me immediately when I saw the results in back testing that adjusting the amount every time was clearly better than anything anyone on the Internet was saying so I can verify these results from my own testing. I wouldn't trade any other way after seeing my results and have spreadsheet to quickly calculate exact amount to trade for me that I use for every single trade.

@@adamlaashiri6752 Depends on how you define from scratch. I used pine script which does a lot for you but within it I wrote it from scratch.
I've always done every trade adjustment, both up and down. It makes way more sense to me.
relating to this test, what's the positions, portion of total fund, and spread you used for the test? how do you determine which value?
Plz make a video on MACD long signals vs MACD short signals. Is there a big difference between the win rates in both signals. Imo, MACD short signals are more reliable than long signals.
Does this work on position size on investments? Say that 100 shares of an index is bought for at $1000: If it goes up 10%, increase position size, if it goes down 10%, reduce position size.

You said you should never risk mkre thwn 5% of your account on a single trade, I figured that was an updated figure, since 5% after each trade would be different. I huess what im saying is, I've been utilizing the turtle method since I started trading sfter I watched your early videos.

I don't get it. He does highlight Buffets all in strategy with investing 100% but suggests only to use a few percent. Doesn't make any sense. In my experience if i use less money after a loss i have less possibilities to compensate the loss if a ein occurs.

Not true, that’s only if your win rate is below 50%. This essentially gives you time to improve before blowing your account. So if your win rate is 60-70%, you will inevitably recover eventually

TRADING RUSH: Can you test the "Bar Up Down" Strategy ?
if most small-cap coins go down or collapse over time, surely a pretty sure investment strategy is to just short sell all small market-cap coins, and place a stop-loss at a reasonable level to stop your account from being blown up by a rogue DOGE-alike blow up. You could then just leave it and make unrealised gains basically every week.

Once i actually started winning. I got my account built back up to where i started and then i left it there until it had 25% more. At that point i started taking out a bit. I only pulled out what i made on the 25%. once i had made another 25%. i added 5% of that to my withdrawal amount. So i had 120% of investment building and 30% withdrawing from. and so on and so on. Each time i built it up 25% of the starting capital. I added 20 to building and 5 to profit taking. And i kept right on doing this until i had 10 X my investment. Only at that time did i start upping the % i added to the withdrawal column. To this day i still only add half. And i am well over 100 X my original investment.
