The Line is so perfect, i'm glad that Twenty One Pilots was chosen, especially since they/ Tyler were always from the start vulnerable. Navigating and Paladin Strait from the newest Album also seem to fit well, the Line fits into Arcane and the character perfectly but also works so well for a Twenty one pilots song, it feels like a more ''cleaned'' up mellow and simplier version of songs like fall away or march to the sea or even ''Drown''-

I also experienced being with my Gran and watching her pass in front of my eyes nearly 7 years ago. It was absolutely a life changing moment for me, but it's hard to explain. She's come into my mind while listening to the song, so I guess now I know why.
This is an incredible song! I didn't even know about the band's connection to Arcane. I just heard the song and thought 'oh wow....21 pilots has crossed over to this place that just blew me away! All your music is fluid and expansive but this was mind-blowing. I love the connection as well. The emotion in this is just incredible.
I've been a fan of Twenty One Pilots for a number of years...and just appreciate not being alone in my deepest...and that we're all struggling together...to feel seen. I'm grateful for the music that has pulled me through some stuff...and still does. It's always relevant and reverent and beautiful and sad and happy at the same time❤ this new song is another example.
I wasn't giving too much attention to this song after Act III, well, because there a lot of good songs in the final part, but suddenly I grew really fond of it in the last day, Idkw, it started slowly and now I can't stop listening
Tyler this was so much more beautiful than a hype song… thank you. ❤ I think it’s just as important that we feel sorrow strongly, and not just happiness or excitement.
Whatever it is about this song… it makes me feel some deep emotions. I literally have to limit how many times I play it because I just start tearing up… 😩🙌🏼

Thank you for posting this. I had to work the day the music video premiered and miss it. And was able to find and watch the music video after work but couldn't find the introduction posted anywhere. I love that he has a personal connection to each song he writes. It's one of the many reasons 21 Pilots is my fav band! Love The Line, it's such an amazing and emotional song.

I want you to know that your closest ones, who were here before, they are proud of you. Proud of how you wake up each day and just do you. You are strong. You are wise, talented, and unique. Arcane is very theatric and the story behind the line seems to have a nice cohillation to the background of love and war to the characters emplamenting a powerful journey through the unknown.
@svprcrm7189 you know im glad you asked i dont have anyone to talk to about arcane so buckle up . well i have a theory that if jayce never shot victor then victor wouldnt have everyone jacked in to the hive mind and transformed into the glorious evolution. Its a paradox similar to the paradox that if victor didn't save jayce when he was a kid then jayce wouldnt have discovered the hex core. I also believe this because victor was holding onto a coin to remind him that both sides perfect and imperfect (the artistic side of the coin) are both equally important and make up humanity. And when he dies he drops the coin. Meanwhile jinx, the writers are showing us that she has blatantly crosses the line on several occasions, even when she first meets eisha she ends up making an impression that sticking to eisha. and jinx notices that and she tries to change her impression telling eisha jinx is dead. So jinx has obviously grown up. She can feel the light shine on her face thanks to eisha again. She did disappoint alot of people and she wshes to make amends with her sister vi. And her body's on the line cuz shes on that zaun goo (forgot the name). But both victor and jinx have an equally sad story that goes extremely well with the song. U know i have to watch arcane a second time just to make sure my theory doesnt have any holes. It probably does.

I mean, the song officially came out when the show came out, so I’m sure they recorded it long before the show was made so it can be included 😂
