Slice is a great option, especially if you can go line or cross off a high ball. But the more variety you have available to you the better. If you have the ability to hit through a high backhand or hit a heavy ball from up there that makes things very tricky for your oponenet.
Ah I see. I can hit the few balls with my right handed, but any time i try to play properly my shoulder comes out. In terms of coaching, it can't think / speak and play left handed yet, so I still demo right handed.

if it’s a high shot why not do a slice return? that works for be and it’s easier on the arm

Do you mean why did I transition? If so I injured myself in a mountain bike crash.
