@@davidmontoya6672 Oh yeah. The Blood Angels are one of the prime examples of honorable but savage warriors in 40k! Though I am not familiar with this particular verse, it certainly echoes with the spirit of the Blood Angels! For example, the first line is a reference to how Blood Angel aspirants will be inducted into the chapter by being baptized in a coffin of the blood of their Primarch Sanguinius for a whole year! After they emerge from this stasis, they emerge from the coffin as full Astartes of the Blood Angels, thus fulfilling the second line about how their lives revolve around war and battle! The third line could be construed a few ways, but my personal interpretation is that it's a reference to how the Blood Angels hold themselves to a higher standard than that of other Space Marine chapters. The reason for this is due to their genetic flaw called the Red Thirst which is the source of the viewpoint of the Blood Angels being like vampires (if the coffin full of blood didn't already clue you in :p) and so they take it upon themselves to act to the high standards that they set as a way of reminding them of their humanity, despite their superhuman nature. The fourth line is about how Space Marines as a whole are the fist of the Emperor's vengeance, but it also refers to the death of the Blood Angels Primarch and how all of the different chapters have been paying for the loss of their Primarch, one of the sons of the Emperor and their Gene-Father, by suffering from the second curse inherent to all Blood Angels, the Black Rage. The fifth and sixth lines make sense as commenting on how all Astartes fall in battle as that is the fate that they were made for, but in the context of the Blood Angels, the fifth line could be seen as in reference to the Black Rage, which is basically a hallucinatory battle fury where they believe themselves to be Sanginius, fighting the enemies of mankind in his last moments. And once that Rage takes hold, it never lets go. The few exceptions continue to serve the Blood Angels faithfully, but they all must learn to deal with the Black Rage and the Red Thirst in their own ways or risk falling to the fate of the sixth line where they will be slain in battle; not by an enemy, but by their own battle brothers for their own safety and for the good of the chapter. In summary, the Blood Angels are a very human chapter of Space Marines in that they constantly struggle to maintain what humanity they have and seek to protect the rest of mankind in the hopes of keeping themselves above their weaknesses while striving for a greater level of duty that they may offer to the Emperor and this poem can be seen as a summary of that struggle for these superhumans to remain human while also wielding that supernatural might against the very inhuman enemies of the Imperium. :)
@@mr.badwolf7356 thank you for telling me what each line means. My lil brother showed me warhammer n I randomly chose his blood angels characters to play n fell in love. Especially Sanguinius (hope I spelt it right)
@@davidmontoya6672 Pretty sure that's the right spelling. 🙂 Welcome to the company of the Sacred Blood, brother. 😇🪽🪽 May the Great Angel guide you to his presence.
Born from the radioactive ashes of Baal, doomed to daily struggle with the Flaw, tasked to protect humanity at it worst in the galaxy of Darkness... Blood Angels, the shining examples of a Space Marine. Godspeed, brothers!
Poor Sanguinius. One of the most important emblems of the Space Marines, themselves the pinnacle of an Imperium which was built on rationality and the active destruction of superstition. Yet there he was - an actual angel of supernatural beauty, skill and abilities, in a galaxy which the Emperor wanted to be atheist.
Somewhere in between Mortal Shell and Cyberpunk 2077, clad in Deus Ex harmonics and choirs, but unmistakably Warhammer. Words fail to express my gratitude for your work. Truly amazing. I'm always meditating, reading and sleeping on your compositions. They help a lot and bring so much vividness. Keep them coming❤🎉
Rock on! That's an awesome take, I do love the audio and vibe of all 3 of those universes. Thanks for your words of support, that means so much! and I'm super happy to hear they're helping enrich the things you do in life. Keep on keeping on!

I like this meditation, gives me...heartbeat vibes...I'm totally a blood angel player for life
In blood I am born.
In battle do I live.
In light shall I rise.
In vengeance shall I serve.
In darkness will I fall.
In blood I shall die.
I’m new to Warhammer, but is this something they say?
