These look absolutely lovely. The colour scheme is superb. I very much like how the 'hidden' parts have little to no dye. It gives an added depth to the knit.
You have inspired me to take the leap and knit sweaters. (I've had enough of flat knit projects, and hats). At the end of last year I have finished my first sweater (historical pattern), and now I've got the sweater bug. I'm actually finishing off the sleeves on a Tincan knits sweater for my husband (you've praised the pattern enough to make me want to give it a go), and I am absolutely in love with top-down sweater knitting, and plan another Tincan sweater for myself. Thank you!

Is there any way to knit the pair simultaneously? I hate to finish one and then start another one, which will not be exactly like the prior one.

I watched Sunday but needed a few days to think about a dream project. I have two things I want to try, I want to write a pattern. I have had an idea, but I never full sat with it. I also want to knit an Estonian lace shawl. And thirdly I want learn how to spin and then knit a cowl with the yarn I spun.

Congrats on the socks!! They look great.
I recently bought a skein of Parade Malabrigo Sock, thinking it would be great as a 2x2 ribbed sock. I’ve frogged it around 4 times because it wasn’t turning out like I had it in my head. I decided to add a white fingering weight yarn with it (inspired by your thickmas socks) and now it’s working up beautifully!! I’m so excited to have them done!

Socks do look great. For me, the best part was the demystifying of the dyeing process. I've had a wonderful stash of acid dyes and equipment sitting in my cupboard for WAY too long. I've been intimidated by what I, too, saw as the need for precision measuring of the dyes. Somehow no matter how many times I read about the process, I didn't feel calmed down. This was perfect! This I CAN do!! Thank you.
I get so much out of all of your videos (and I am a very experienced fiber artist. Spinning, Weaving, Knitting for years)! I always find something of interest. I hope you feel accomplished and proud. You've really created something wonderful here.
Looking forward to whatever you have in store!
    All the best!

Wow! Thank you so much... that is such a lovely compliment 💚 And you should absolutely give dyeing a try... I linked some of the resources that I used to learn the little I know back when I was giving it a bit more thought. I still watch Taylor Seeking Cozy and Chemknits just because they're enjoyable. I hope you pull out those dyes and have a great time!

Great to see you back. Thanks for talking through your process. Dying has always come across as complicated but your method is really simple. It’s one of those ideas I have is to dye my own fabric and yarn so this video has given me the confidence to try. I’ve had an idea for a fabric (wool) hat in the back of my mind for a long time and I finally asked myself how long do I need to think about it! Anyway I’m working on the embroidery at the moment and hope to have it finished by the end of the month. I’ve also just finished my first knitting design for a knitted hat so I’m going to write up the pattern and publish it. It’s funny how once we commit to something it feeds our imagination and one design/idea always leads to another.
