Just seen this, I once read about somebody making stools like this and using small surplus satellite dishes for the seats.

    Dear Sir
You have created a masterpiece. Especially the seat is very beautiful and seems comfortable too. The back support should have some tilt.

I wasn't sure about the 'crossover' colour scheme with the desk but when I saw the way the ink brought out the grain on the seat back, I'm sold. Great build & enjoy using your new planning dept>

Very nice stool, thanks for sharing. I have that same plug cutter. If you cut the plugs from 3/4 material (or less), you don't need to use anything to get them out, they will self eject. Just cut one plug, then as you are cutting the next it will pop out.

I recently completed a pallet bench with a curve seat. I built myself a small router sled to make the curve. This reduced the need for band sawing and a degree of sanding. Just a thought for consideration.

Good job Matt. Interesting process. I only ever made a small chair for the kids that didn't need the cross pieces so it was good to see you make your for next time I do, if that makes sense. I like the dowel vs screw point as well. Looking forward to seeing the hardwood version. Any particular reason why the back was only 3 high? Just curious. All the best and cheers for posting - getting to watch good content is one of the very few positives of the lockdown.

Might be time to bring back your Multico table saw and fit it permanently with your flat tooth grooving blade, then no need for all this blade changing, in the same vein as your dual bandsaws? Great stool by the way!
