Well I watched this video with 8k resolution on my Samsung smartphone, I thought my phone was going to explode but there was no problem, it just feels hot and a litt
I can confirm on my M2 Pro Mac Mini, 8K runs with 0 dropped frames💪 It's using AV1, the mini doesn't even break a sweat. Fans still inaudible as always and no system/browser lags present. It uses 500000 Kbps connection speed and looks great on a 4K monitor! Bitrate could be somewhat higher though; I can still see some noise and lq compression artifacts present in the video.
