It’s so sad to see so many negative comments here. The off timing started off with the orchestra in the beginning and lata Ji picked up in confusion. And both lata Ji and the orchestra were trying to catch up with each other but failed , which happens. It’s a simple human error. Secondly lata Ji is a legend. She must have been in her late 60’s performing live. Every person are at their best when in their prime time, in their youth days and later you get old and you retire . You simply cannot do things the way you used to do when u were young. Lata Ji has given us so many legendary songs and performances for us to cherish and remember which she sung in her young days. Over here she is just re-singing her song live with no auto tuner which younger generation do now days and also no lypsinging and still sounding amazing minding her age and people still hating on her. So pathetic. It’s a simple logic that every human is at their best when in their prime time and once their period is over , they get old and someone else takes over. So guys please appreciate this performance coz it’s amazing that she can still sing this much at this very age. I’m a musician and singer myself and it’s so amazing to see lata Ji still standing strong and singing live. Please no hate.. spread love with music. 🎧🙏🏻

Its not out of sur Malay..I think the tempo was very fast at the beginning and later she catches up.. This basically happens when the sound comes back to you with a delay...Many artist to reduce this lag wear headfones during recording....
I do think that Lata ji should not sing live anymore. It is a tragedy that the present singers cannot beat Lata ji in her heydays, but people would appreciate that she has had her run. And she is par excellence. But like her, earlier than her there were a few who did not become so famous or whose voice sounds hoarse when the first LPs came out, for example Begum Akhtari Bai whose original voice was very thin in 1920s like Lataji. She has become a legend overshadowing them. Let her live for that.
Now, she's no more. Let your singers sing. And I see if there's anyone who can beat her. Simply there's no one in this entire universe who can beat her
