I grew up in Kamuela in da late 70's early 80's and rememba all da paniolo family lu'au's my tutu used to take me in and around Kamuela. Hawai'i island's best of da best played for these lu'au's. Among them, Ohana Serenader's, a young Hui Ohana, uncle Sol K. Bright (who used to rock da Kamuela crowd!), once in awhile uncle Sonny Chillingsworth (also used to rock), and of course Kamuela's and Kohala's finest da Lim ohana. Brah I telling you right now, wen dey used to sing, dey used to ROCK DA HOUSE SILLY! People jus couldn't get enough. And wen dey was pau...auwe, dey wasn't, cause their hana hou's were frickin endless! Ho da memories of how dey used to ROCK!... still do of course but I talking about wen dey was in their "hay-days" brah I was there and I so fortunate to have witness there earlier awesomeness. My most fondest memories of Kamuela. Mahalo Lim Ohana.
