Nice bag perfect for jetty fishing I especially like the built in worm bags I would use for storing my redfish leaders
Most of the backpacks with worm bags are pretty useless, bu the Shimano worm bags are top notch.
Tackle Warehouse’s backpack has a similar layout. I used it a bit this past year, but am looking for a new bag. The TW backpack is nice, but I could not get it on and off my shoulders when it was loaded. As a big guy (3x-4x shirts, built like a defensive tackle), the length and spread of shoulder straps are a couple of details that are never available that are make or break for me. Your detailed reviews might not call them out direct, but they do allow me to get some idea of sizing. Thank you for posting.

Great informative video and backpack, the tackle warehouse bag is very close to same. Shimano bag looks better but is about $80 more. My TW back has ladted 3 seasons so far. I would buy this bag tho.
Mr Bass this would also be a wonderful bag to pack Medical equipment in if you were traveling. I love this bag!
I know it’s been a while since this video was made, but I notice for the Blackmoon series bags the have a top load (the one you reviewed in this video) as well as a front load version. Did you ever get a chance to look over that one? If so, what are your thoughts on the two. Pros and cons of each. Thank you

It’s a very good bag for sure. I like the EGO Fishing bags a little better myself though.
I have used shimano baga and boxes over the years and their always good. I almost bought the precursor to this pack a few years back. That one actually had a rain cover inside a zipper pocket built into the shoulder straps. Im surprised this one didnt have that feature. It was kinda hidden. Did you find that feature on this pack after the fact by chance? This pack was well thought out. Wish the line spool holders were larger to hold suffix spools. But u could just keep them in the pocket. Great review sir! Fish on!

The Tackle Warehouse bag is a lot like this one. I had a tackle warehouse bag but it was uncomfortable to carry as it’s just a big box on your back.

Very hard to find a waterproof bag with pockets. They haven’t really figured that out. If you want alot of pockets, your best bet is to buy a bag with a rain fly.

A few are made in america. Unfortunately, they are very hard to find.

I got one of these and put it up for sale the next day. When you put your boxes in the way the zipper is designed you have to take out two boxes to get to the box in the rear of the backpack. It sucks.

Hey Mr. Bass! Do you know of any backpacks that front or size load 3700 tackle boxes? I have a few Plano Edge 3700’s that I want to bring with me on my trips. I’m having trouble finding one.
I am not aware of any front loaders for 3700’s. Just top loaders. The Flambeau heritage is pretty nice. The Plano Guide Series 3700 bag is a nice set up for 3700’s but it’s not a backpack and it’s a top loader.
Does it come with everything inside?
This is very much like the tackle warehouse backpack that I own. It does hold so much, but turns out to be a hassle in that you can’t access the front and back compartment at the same time. I waste a lot of time flipping it back and forth to access boxes in the back and soft plastics in the front. I would not buy this style of backpack again. If this backpack fits the bill for anyone save the money and get the tackle warehouse version. IMO the previous shimano black moon bag is superior because you can access all compartments with it standing upright. If the black moon is out of your price range there are exact knockoffs on Amazon for less than $100.

Favorite so far, just can't manage that price... worth more than my reel for my bag... lol. Also surprised there is no rain cover.
Bags are not cheap. That's one of the reasons for the videos. It's a big purchase for alot of folks.
I may review the front loader if I can get my hands on it.
@@MrBassTV I know, I just will use my cheap hiking backpack I already have until then, it barely fits 2 x 3600, but that's all the tackle I have for now anyway. I guess I just can't justify spending more on a bag than I did on a reel. I'd prefer a better reel, or a second reel before a $150 bag. Hoping one of the budget ones catches my fancy, I am a bank angler exclusively at present, so a nice bag would be really helpful.

But from my perspective, most all of my tackle is established which as you know can add up to some serious money really fast, all the tools and line, phone, sunglasses and anything else most would use that bag for could be worth $thousands ya know. So from that point of view a $150 investment to protect $1500-$2000 worth of gear from the elements throughout a tournament season is well worth it

Sorry that I did not weigh the bag. Overall weight really depends upon how much you put in the bag. Fully loaded with tackle could easily be 20lbs or more.

No. Sorry. Hard to find waterproof bags that also have pockets.

No chest strap at $150 and made in China.😆 The fabric looks like any school backpack, like it'd get poked and ripped within a week with me. The whole thing looks like a 1/2 effort.
