- I sent 2,500$ to one of my subscribers for them to put together 24 days of Christmas mystery boxes!

The person who did this should make gift giving their career. This person went beyond and did a great job researching and selecting things that they knew Raphael would like. It's the consideration, effort, and time they put into all of this, so good. I love seeing stuff like this

Ok so I’ve added All of the costs for all the items and here are the prices as follows.
Everything with tax would cost $1064.56. I’d say about 100 for shipping and I’d say 50 for packaging and artwork to make it look nice. So the total cost of everything would be $1214.46. So if he paid them 2500 they kept about half of it and spent half of it on this advent calendar. Also I found every item original online so that’s how I have all of these prices. Most expensive item was the beats coming in at $225.23 tax included. Cheapest item was peeps and crabby patty candy coming in at $13.47 tax included.

@@aidans666 but it also depends on where they live because the cheapest place that I can find beats in my area not online this is saying they bought it in person is $349. I live in Colorado.
I love how this subscriber really took their time to not only get all the gifts, but to handwrite the numbers and also make sure that each box was the same size to look more aesthetically pleasing and made sure to get things that could fit into that size of boxes. I'm impressed!

@@aidans666 why do you feel the need to keep commenting how much you think this person spent on this? I’ve seen you copy and pasted your comment in a few different threads. Do you want credit for using your time, finding items online and adding them together? I feel like you are ruining the sweetness. What if you made this and spent a ton of time creating this plan and excitement to send to him? Would you want someone trying to diminish the effort you put into something by people talking about how much you spent? I’m sure you wouldn’t want to see your own comment if you had done this yourself.

Guys i'm the shady subscriber and the total cost is about $810. Either way it's an amazing advent calendar that the person who made must have worked very hard on!
I was looking for this because I was curious but didn’t want to go through the work searching prices. I imagine there was an upfront agreement that some of the money compensated for time, and the boxes and shipping of course. But it seems that whoever chose the presents went through a lot of effort finding things that meant something to him rather than just trying to spend a lot of money.
I'm pretty sure that he usually tells people to keep at least half the money for the work and spend what they want on the gifts.
The shipping had to be crazy.
I'm glad he was really happy with everything. All the comments are very positive. I might be crazy but I was kinda disappointed. Every box should have been at least 50$ or 100$ worth. Some of those were 10$ worth.
the person did an amazing job and made him happy, you have to also think about the caring, the thought on the gifts, the shipping costs, going to stores to buy stuff so using gas to your car to go to the stores, the time ... difficult to do better than this and i would have wanted most of the gifts too , totally my tastes

Truthfully they spent no more then $1000- $1200. But the way you appreciate the thought behind everything is really cool. The fact you give them the option to keep most of it and they still give you something for your money is really cool as well. The whole thought behind it all is awesome. Happy holidays!
Don't forget time spent shopping, shipping and handling charges, boxes of uniform sizes, assembly of it all, decorating the boxes, packing them, shipping the large boxes, insurance, all the time they spent has a value on it. It takes time and energy to put this together. Like an act of service. Maybe that's R's love language and why he was so touched. Plus the variety of things, food, clothes, pets, decorations, gadgets, kitchen stuff, self care, practical items. Fantastic job. If anyone did that for me, it would be the best gift I ever got in my life.

Something that is specific to that state for you to learn more about each state, see the beauty or give you a hint to visit. Pick a subscriber for each box, and they could send something from their location or culture. With a size limit or price limit. Needs to fit in a box a certain size, etc.
