I strongly feel that line "If your nothing without the suit...." comes from his own addiction to suits which was a cause of his hyper paranoia and anxiety everythime he was without the suit in Iron man 3.
Tom Holland’s Spider-Man definitely has some weird changes to the material, because….. When the hell did FLASH THOMPSON become a short rich Indian kid? He’s supposed to be a tall buff blonde who was a football player
Yeah Flash was weird, but the MCU is a different universe from the comics so things often change. They made Flash more of a modern day cyber-bully instead of the traditional jock.
Because the whole school was changed from just a regular high school to a science/tech-focused high school for especially smart kids. So there are no big, dumb jocks at this school.
Oh man, you've done it again! - What didn't I tell you about skipping the post-credit scenes in these movies, miss M, right back when you started this franchise?! 🤨
For me, Tom Holland was the perfect casting for the MCU Spider-Man. I really appreciate that they went for the youngest version of the character to hit the big screen so far since Spidey was originally created as a character who would be the same age as the kids who were reading the comics so that those kids had a lead character they could relate to (up until then, superheroes tended to be in their 30s or 40s, with teen characters relegated to being side-kicks). The twist with the Vulture being Liz's dad was great too.
30:00 funny thing, I always got the impression that Tony was going to let Peter know about the FBI (or at least that that weapon situation was handled) when he called him. If Peter hadn’t hung up he likely would’ve been informed.
I tell ya this MCU Spider-Man was definitely a reckless amateur at first and Tony was right about how he was kinda trying to rush things instead of building up his game first by just being a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man.
I think you're right about Toomes and cashing out, but I think that's exactly what he was trying to do with the Avengers stuff. One big score and he could live off of that (probably) forever. Until now, he's actually played it smart because he hasn't been on anyone's radar.
"Spider-Man is not a party trick!" Right, Peter! LOL!!! THANKS for this!!!! It wasn't a Spider-Signal at the end of "Captain America: Civil War"; it was a menu for the suit. (If I'm wrong, someone will correct me here.) Don't worry; you, like the rest of the Milky Way galaxy, will warm up to Tom. :) [FINALLY PAID ATTENTION TO YOUR VIDEO TITLE POST] See?!? Toldya!!! LOL!!!! Yes, communication would have solved a lot of this but then there'd be no movie :) I'm sure you were told that the director told Tom and Zendaya not to date. (Both previous Spider-Men dated both M.J.s/G.S.s.) We know what happened next :) Such an adorable film....followed by another adorable Spider-Man film...followed by [EARTH POPULATION'S STILL NOT RECOVERED FROM HAVING ITS COLLECTIVE MIND BLOWN :)]

Thank you for knowing how to pronounce Oregon. hahaha Seriously though, terrific reaction! There is so much to love in this film. From Peter complaining that Tony is treating him like a kid... while jumping on a hotel bed, to that reveal of who is Liz's dad!
Great reaction. Make sure you watch the Spiderverse movies. Best Spiderman movies so far and there's a little bit of a tie in. They're not part of the main MCU so you can watch them at any time.
The Avengers during this point between civil war and Infinity war movies consist of everyone on Tony's team except Black widow who is also a fugitive with Steve Rogers and his team who are on the run from the government. In fact Steve Rogers has dropped the Captain America persona to take up a new alias of nomad. As for the Avengers they take clear exist but due to the fact they signing the sokovia accords they only can form and save people as a group if the government allows them to which they want it was just a PR move to get them off the streets. That's why Tony says The Avengers can't help with the arm feels because the Avengers can't really do anything even Tony can't get involved unless he gets approval which is why he called the FBI to investigate.
This is one of top 3 MCU movies. But you're right - it has a flaw that many movies have - not just superhero movies: That a lot of the problems could have been avoided if someone had just picked up a phone. If Tony, or Happy, or Pepper, or even some low-level secretary had just sent a simple text to Peter, "We got your message. Tony and the FBI are handling it. Please stay away - it's too dangerous for you." - crisis avoided. And if Toomes had called StarkTech, Tony likely would have compensated him for his financial losses - or even hired his crew to be part of the Damage Control team. Tony is very generous. Or if someone had called Toomes in advance and told him that someone else would be handling the Chitauri invasion cleanup, or coordinated with him. All the bad events of this movie could have been prevented with just a little communication. At the very least, Toomes could have called a lawyer to sue the city for breech of contract.
41:33 The "propellers" are gas turbines They work by sucking air into the front of the engine using a fan. Then the engine compresses the air, mixes fuel with it, ignites the fuel/air mixture, and shoots it out the back of the engine, and that creates the thrust. Didn't mean to get too techie.🙂

Tony Stark you are the father 😂
I personally never cared for The Vulture in the comics but Michael Keaton did a wonderful job as Adrian and he's still in my top 5 MCU villains.
Agreed, he didn't really make much sense as a dangerous villain. This version was terrific!
Donald Glover’s character is actually Miles Morales’s uncle so when he said I got a nephew who lives here that’s who he meant

you meant teens that been reading the comic not kids
@@nasbofficial7796 last time I checked, teens are kids.

Andrew Garfield will forever be my Spider-Man, but Tom Holland does such an incredible performance ❤This movie is just so adorable and fun!
One of my favourite superhero movies. I think its really the only one where I completely bought into Peter just being an awkward high school kid.
If I am correct, this is the first "MCU" movie to NOT be distributed by Disney but instead, distributed by Sony.

Imagine what kind if situation Peter would have to be in for him to intentionally activate instant-kill..
Imagine..
