LOVE ANN..I met my Husband in the city even though we were both born in small towns just miles away. We found each other with the same background. Loved dancing. We married a year later in 1960. We danced all the time & won many jitterbug contests. We had 4 children. They all loved dancing as my parents did. We Worked together for 35 yrs. Received Alzheimer's diagnosis in 05 and was in the nursing home his last 5 yrs. I whirled him around in the wheelchair dancing. He passed in 2015. We were married 55 yrs. Prayers for all the spouses missing their partners.

My Husband Charlie just passed away on March 12th 2021. He sang this song to me every night even the last night. We went to see Ann in Arlington Tx some years ago. Charlie remembered the entire thing and year. Our 50th Wedding Anniversary in on June 22nd 2021. I know he is in Paradise now. He would ask me to play this Video every day even twice night time before we went to sleep...I miss you so much Charlie. So so much. See you in Paradise again....Your Hildan's

Years ago my Mom mentioned that she loved Anne Murray and her music. While raising the family there was barely money for food, so when I was 22 and working 2 jobs I paid for tickets and took Mom to a concert. To this day I still see her expression of joy. Mom passed last year and I'm grateful for that memory.

At another reunion, we got to tell Anne about that in person (we share the same alma mater). It became the signature last dance at our favourite ballroom dance club.

This song reminds me of my husband. He passed away in August 2020. We met at a dance. He asked me to dance. I don't remember the actual song/songs we danced to that night but just hearing this song takes me back to that special time. We had 46 wonderful years of marriage when I lost him. There's not a day goes by that I don't miss him and think of him.

Laughing at the camp mates in jungle doing thier Bush tucker trials.
Yes it's a great memory this song sang by a wonderful singer.
Memory of my home town and a first date when ventured out after a broken marriage the crew on the vessel were so kind to my son too was a struggle juggling work and caring for my special boy. The supply ship left the harbour on tannoid was playing we are sailing by Rod Stewart and the crew on deck the harbour master stood next to me asked if I was crying sheepishly said no dont be silly a cherished memory nice one am sure you too have lovely memories?

My husband has never danced in his whole life, but you know what? I have danced as a teenager. Anne Murray is my all time, whole life, favorite singer. I listened to her songs and learned how to sing in tune and traveled NY State singing in as many Churches as possible, yes, all because of Anne Murray. Thank you Anne Murray. My Grandfather on my Father's side was Canadian French and his wife, my Grandmother, was born and raised in Germany. Sarah Vradenbergh was her name.

Dad 7-30-1924 to 3-14-2012, Mom 4-19-25 to 3-26-2018. O, how I miss them so very much! I will love them forever and forever. O X O X Lovely, Lorraine

It seems everyone who has heard this song has a story to go with it. When my father's trades assistant and his fiancee got married in the town park, this song was played as Donna walked up the aisle. I still remember the look on Bruce's face... It said everything about their love that ever needed saying.

When I first heard her in the early seventies I knew she was awesome. In 1978- 1980 I had all my college friends tuned into her and when she came on the radio they would know to be quiet. In 1990 I got the opportunity to go her concert in Florida and even though I was in pain with an abscess tooth I dragged myself there. Seeing the wonderful singer ..Anne Murray. That was one thing I was able to check off my bucket list😊
