A whip round in service to buy parts for the samba, brilliant.
I used to bump into Dai in his Audi Quattro near me a few years before this, and told him 'a German company car?', and he said 'Yes'.
Harri Toivonen and his dad Paulo and his late brother Henri - I didn't like to mention the 1966 Monte to their dad, because he doesn't like to be reminded - he resigned from Citroen straight after the event and never drove for a French team again...
Well done VHS, part 4 final - the start of the narration started like he was going to tell a joke 00:41 . One of the rare wins of the MG Metro 6R4 on a big event. Well done Dai Llewellyn from Haverfordwest, West Wales. A classic much remembered win! 🏴👍

Certainly. 👍🙂
Glad you like them!
6R4 should have been built with about six inches of more wheelbase and a supercharger. Hairier cams but still with low down torque.
👍👍👍
