WOW! That looked AMAZING brother T-ROY. I am glad you enjoyed it. It is truly an amazing thing that sous vide ribeye, Juicy is an understatement. Keep on cooking brother... Me, Ninja and MauMau loved watching you. 👍👍👍
Thanks for turning me onto Sous Vide brother!!! I'm gonna have to do some binge watching on your channel to catch up with all that I've been missing out on!!! LOL Cheers to all you guys!!!
T-Roy is spot on, the guys at SVE ROCK! Looks "Amazing!"
They said it wrong "IT'S AMMMAZZING!!!" Hi5 for Ninja
Hey Guga, you Mau Mau and Ninja need to get together with T-Roy and do a Sous Vied video together!!!!
I agree that a Guga/T-Roy collaboration needs to happen.
Love ya T-Roy. So ya invite lots of friends over and want to cook out. What is the fun everyone standing around in the kitchen watching the steak in water in a plastic bag? “Hey guys, come on have a beer on the patio while I cook my steaks in water in a plastic bag.”Hard no for me.
Beautiful. Love that Damascus carving knife too. Very elegant.
I've been interested in trying sous vide for a while now and I got a sous vide circulator for Christmas last month. I've used it a few times just to figure it out. Just last night I cooked four 1" thick bone-in pork chops, but instead of searing them in cast iron I seared them with a blow torch. They turned out PERFECT! My family was jumping out of their skin! I've been cooking pork chops for years, but these may be the best ones I've ever cooked!
Been 5 years! So, I’m gonna try this tonight with my rib eye. One thing I’d suggest to do when setting up your tub, throw some hotter water from the tap to speed up the heating process, if you’re trying to get it done a bit quicker 🤙
Outstanding! I can't even fathom the texture and all else that crazy thing could render on a prime rib and the like.
Yeah, no kidding!!!! I can't wait to try out other stuff in the sous vide!! Thanks for watching!
Ha, you'll have to find you a meat straw to kick back and enjoy it with!
Your reaction to when the first bit of steak you tasted was priceless. Now I wanna try sous vide steak.
Looks good Troy! I love new kitchen toys! Gotta get me one of these. Cheers Brother!
Thanks CJ!!! Hope you do get one brother. It's well worth the investment. Cheers brother!
Wow that looks some kind of good, looks like melt in your mouth kind of tender. Cheers brother, happy holiday season to you & your family!
Hey Shane, it was melt in your mouth goodness brother. I bet I could have cut it with my fork!!! Thanks for watching and hope you have a fabulous holiday season as well. Cheers
Nice job on the ribeye steak T-Roy. I never even heard of this method of cooking but it looks like you got a handle on things. Keep it up buddy!
Hey Damien, great to hear from you brother!!! I was very pleased with how the steak turned out and I can't wait to try other meats in the sous vide. It was some fine eating!!!
T-Roy Cooks that was a righteous ribeye made my mouth water man it looked so very good.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed the video. That steak was excellent and truly amazing!
Man, that steak turned out incredible! Cheers T-Roy!
Hey Chef Tony!!!! Great to hear from you brother. I hear y'all got some snow like we did? It sure was a pretty sight to see. Thanks for stopping by!! I hope all of you have a Very Merry Christmas!!! Cheers
The snow was a treat! Now it's Tshirt weather.. so random. I hope you all have a great Christmas as well, Cheers man!
I also own the Anova. Love it. Also love the boys from Sous Vide Everything. They (and you) make cooking fun. Carry on!!
That things cuts like butter. Looks awesome and the crust on the outside looks amazing. Great job.
I probably could have cut it with my fork. I can't get over how tender that steak was!!!
Sous Vide Everything is a rocking channel! Glad you are hooked up now T-Roy! Cheers brother.
Yes indeed, Gustavo does have a great channel and I'm glad he turned me on to sous vide cooking. I'm loving it!!!
I have been holding out on the sou vide craze ... but now that Papa T-Roy is on board, I am about to purchase my first unit . . From his Amazon channel of course 😎😎
6:33 “I wish y’all could take a look at this”. Thanks to you we can! Looks amazing!
Gustavo is amazing! I just got one and its the best freaking thing in the world! I have no idea why i waited for so long.
I'm with ya, I can't believe I waited so long to get one either. I'm loving it!!!
I don't think my mouth has ever watered like that, holy Hell! Looks so good! Cheers Troy
Glad you enjoyed the video Casey!!! I'm tellin' ya, that steak was truly amazing!!! Thanks for watching and cheers to ya brother!!
Wow! First class set-up! I have the big Anova clamped to a deep (spahetti) pot. Wonderful gadget that produces great food.
That's what I said too....WOW!!!! I was blown away by that steak. I can't wait to cook other foods and veggies in it. Thanks for watching Gizmo!!!!
I'm glad you finally were able to get into sous vide Troy. I really think it's the way to go for steaks (and other things). We've had ours for a year or so and love it.
Yeah, it was a fantastic steak Logan. And I look forward to checking out other meats in the sous vide. I can't believe I waited so long to give this method a try!!! Hope you and the family have a Very Merry Christmas!!! Cheers
I can come home from a big ass buffet dinner and watch T. He would have me hungry again by the end of the next video. T your awesome, keep up the good work. From Honolulu Hawaii, Aloha!!!
I had my 1st New York strip cooked on this setup, every bite was like the finest prime rib
Dude! Next time I come down there I would love to do this! That looked insane! Wow, man. That was so juicy!
Do me a favor and look at the intersection between smoking and sous vide. Seems like a ton of opportunity for meats that might dry out with an exceptionally long smoke.
Yes, meats like venison perhaps?
I'll hook you up Justin!!!!
Do a show on it!
Good idea, Shannon!
I just purchased a Sous Vide Circulator and I can't wait to cook me a ribeye TODAY. thanks for sharing T-Roy. Happy New Year to you and Karen.
Taking my sous vide for it's first cook tonight...and yes...doing a rib eye. Wish me luck!
Never heard of this technique. Looks killer good.
I really can’t resist score OK with ribeye good recipes.
Congrats!!!
Lol. Sous vide. Never had it. It just moved right up my wish list. The equipment looked bang on. Keep the vids rolling Troy.
I'm very happy with mine Jonathon. I am looking forward to doing more cooks with it. It's good stuff!!!
That is a nifty unit Troy, and that steak turned out amazing.
Had to be some mighty fine eating, bravo!
Thanks Joe, the steak was fabulous brother!!!
I've done lotsa sous vide steaks and they all come down to the sear. Your steak looks fantastic.
I'm with ya, the sear makes a huge difference. I appreciate you watching!!! Hope you and your family all have a Very Merry Christmas!!!
That is the same one I have, perfect results every time! There are so many possibilities with those.
It's a good unit for sure. I can't wait to try out other meats and veggies on that thing!!! Thanks for watching!
I did corn on the cobb the other day with salt pepper and butter. It was amazing. If you really want to try something, do a chuck roast for 48hrs with a packet of limpton onion soup mix as a "rub". I did it at like 150*. It will be epic.
Looks Great !! Better than a person would get at an expensive steakhouse restaurant.
Yes, I agree brother. The only flavor missing was the dry-aged steak flavor from a fine steakhouse, but I can fix that by aging me some steaks!! LOL
Love your videos, you have helped me make better bbq somany times! Maybe I finally get to return the favor. Some SV advice. 1. Fill the container with hot tap water, that cuts down prep time, and takes the work off the back of the SV unit, 2. Cover and wrap the entire unit with towels, especially in longer SV, to help stabilize and maintain temp without swings, and to help lessen evaporation. I would live to see you do a 48-60 hour SV on a brisket, then ice shock it, fridge it back down to about 40, then put on smoker and bring it back up to about 160. Will change your life!! Darrin Wilson at Fire and Water is the master at this.
Oh my goodness 😍
That looks unbelievably amazing. I'm going to do this for my birthday in a couple of weeks. I can hardly wait.
It was one of the best steaks I’ve ever eaten! Happy early birthday!!!
@@TROYCOOKS - Thank you sir.
This was a great video Mr. T-Roy. Can't wait to get my hands on one of those precision cookers
Good choice with the ribeye. It is hands down my favorite cut of steak. I could eat them all day, every day.
Yes sir, got one for Christmas showed my wife the video. She said I did good if you sound like TRoy over his stake. Wow my man you want foolin!! Best steak I ever had.
Glad you did this, was shying away from it. Think I will try this.
Give it a shot Joe. I'm glad I did!!!
Never even heard of this before and you make it look amazing. Great job. I've been on deployment and your videos have been getting me excited to get back into the states and start cooking again.
Hey T-Roy, I'm coming to Austin in April to try Franklin's BBQ and I'll tell him I've invited myself to T-Roy's house for a lobels streak on the charcoal grill! That sure looked good. Great video!
Sounds like a plan!!! LOL
I love my anova. Once you do it its hard to cook a steak any othet way. Great job Troy.
Yes indeed, I agree with ya. It's good stuff!!!
I do this all the time same temp 133-136 Perfect
Beautiful ribeye my friend !
Thanks T Roy love your channel
I appreciate you watching Allen!!! Cheers brother!
Nice work T-Roy!! Looks like I'm going to have get one of these and try it New Year's Eve while I'm sitting in my cabin here in northern Minnesota. Cheers!!
I hope you do get one Adam. It's one of the best steaks I've ever cooked. Stay warm brother!!!
Nice, got one a while back. Best steak ever.
Yep, I'm loving this thing!!! Thanks for watching!
Love the knife! Steak looks good too.
Thanks David, I have a couple of Damascus knives and do love them. And the steak was awesome!!! I appreciate you watching brother!
That looks great, Troy!!! I was actually looking at doing Sous Vide... I got a smoker instead. I’m excited to see more of these type of videos!
Thanks much brother!!! I'm looking forward to doing more sous vide cooks.
I think it's about time I picked up the Anova. It's been on my list for quite a while, but your video might have just pushed me to make the purchase.
It's a great sous vide system. Get ya one!!! And if you order it from my Amazon store link in the description, that would be even better!!! Won't cost you a penny more, but will help support this channel. If you don't want to, that's fine too. Main point is to get you one so you can start enjoying sous vide meals!!!
Would love to provide support through your link, but unfortunately I'm in Canada and buying through Amazon.com is generally more expensive due to the exchange rate and shipping costs.
Didn't realize you and Guga were hanging together this far back! Cool to see both channels exploding since then. Smoke on, Troy! 👉💨
-Jonathan
That looks amazing brotha! Never had anything Sous Vide but that clearly needs to change.
I wasn't sure about it either brother James, but the meat comes out super tender and juicy. You've gotta give it a try!
That looks AMAZING!!!! God bless you brother!
Thanks very much!!! I was truly blown away when I bit into that steak. I appreciate you watching!
Ive see a bunch or your videos and i think why people think you over cook everything is due to the fact that you dont have very good lighting...
BTW that steak looks incredible..
I love doing sous vide round roasts and brisket flats at 129 f for 48 hours, then torching with my propane torch. Comes out perfectly every time.
I'll have to give that a try!!! Thanks for the info!
I've been using my Anova for about two years now. You don't need to cook it so long. I usually set it up at 128 degrees for 1 hour. You can leave it in longer if you need to finish cooking side dishes and stuff, but the meat will be done in about an hour.
Good to know!! I appreciate the advice brother! Cheers
I am not much for sous vide, but that steak looks righteous! Rock on Troy!
Thanks Sal, it was some mighty fine eating brother!! Rock On!!!
Keep letting that beard go brother. You have the best beard in the business. Much love from The Woodlands TX brother!
I appreciate that brother!!! I'll keep growing it for sure.
Damn man you're killing me. Got that Anova and accessories on my Amazon wish list. Reminding the missus to check that list TWICE. LOL
The Anova is a very nice Sous Vide machine. I'm sure Santa will hook you up this Christmas! LOL
first time I had seen this. The steak really looked good.
Great video T Roy..
I love the Anova unit. Truthfully the WiFi and Bluetooth are iffy and not completely reliable. BUT and it’s a big BUT..The unit itself is
Awesome and a tank. The temperature controls will keep water at exact temperatures for extended cook times. Have the 900 watt unit and is a real work house. On my 4th long cook project. Two Beef Ribs, 1 corn Beef..1 Brisket. End results are truly moist, tender meats..Getting ready to try pork and chicken .
Great to see my fav BBQ channel now adding sous vide to the mix. I have the Anova and love it - although I found that after my first use I never used the app again... Will be great to see you try a sous vide brisket.
Hey Paul, I'll see if I can do a brisket for you in the sous vide. I appreciate the suggestion!!!
This was amazing! Thank you so much for this!
wow that was amazing. I prefer ribeyes more than sirloin so was wondering what would it look like with sous vide. This just made me buy anova instantly. Looking forward for my first try.
Hey brother Troy! That steak looks great! I'm gonna have to get one of these! Great video!
What's up my brother Rich? Yeah man, you should get one and check it out. I'm loving mine!!!
I do mine essentially the same way with the same device however i melt butter and baste my steak in it a hot skillet on high for about 30 secs to 1 min each side. The butter makes all the difference in the world.
Wow that looks amazing! Nice job!
Thanks very much! I appreciate you watching!
Please do some more in this way thanks T-ROY
You bet I will Fredrik. I'm loving this sous vide thingy!!!
thanks
Dang, I'm really hoping to get one of those soon. Your steak turned out perfect. Thanks for sharing😃
Hey Christy, I hope you do get one. I've been amazed at everything I've cooked in it. On a side note, I answer your question and give you a nice shout out on tomorrows Chat video. Hope you have a wonderful week!!!
T-ROY COOKS Thank You!! We just picked up the two deer we dropped off at the processors yesterday. Hoping to try some burgers soon. 😃

T-ROY COOKS
Bryan Tx, hour and half north of Houston.
Cool man, that's not too far from Austin. My sister-in-law lives in that area. I will try to remember to let you know when I'm having a get together. Send me an email with your info brother!!!
My goodness Troy.....the expression on your face said it all. Thats good eatin right there...holy smokes brother!!!!!!
Holy smokes is right brother!!! I was literally blown away!! I was not expecting that steak to be as tender or juicy as it was. It was truly melt in your mouth goodness!!!
I have had that cooker for a while. We doing out Christmas turkey and will seal it with a searzall. Thinking of doing a brisket during the summer smoke for 3 hours then sous vide then sear just to keep it juicy lol glad you enjoyed will let you know how the turkey pork and beef go. But I know the steak is amazingly fine..
Awe man, I bet brisket or pork butt would be great sous vide!!! Yes, please let me know how that works out for you so I can give it a try. Thanks!
Thanks for the video, your process is very helpful!
Ya, I need one of those. Great cook Troy!
You really do need to get one Chris. My mouth is still watering just thinking about how good that steak was brother!!
Brotha Troy, what would you prefer on Sous vide steaks, cast iron sear or direct flame?
You are definitely enjoying that steak.
aww man i was waiting for him to say "ITS AMAZING" still great video.
Yeah, I should have said It's Amazing!!! It truly was!!
Wow that looks amazing, I use Sous Vide for all of our steaks with butter and It's Incredible seasonings and they are amazing. I cook them exactly like you do. Awesome technic for a perfect steak every time. You can also set the Sous Vide temp a little lower for your target temp then set up a pellet grill to a high temp for the final few minutes getting a crust and end up with the same effect but adding the smokiness to the steak. Hope you are doing well in your new home?
I brown mine before it goes into the suis vide pot...do it either way...its always very very good.
Wtf?
Nice thing that SV.. I'm looking into that system..
What a juicy steak!! Looks fantastic!
Got me convinced..
Cheers brother!
Hope you get you one brother Kjetil. I'm truly loving mine and can't wait to try other meats in it. Cheers brother!
Could cut that steak 🥩 with a fork and what a char. That’s some mighty fine steak T-Roy! Merry Christmas to you and yours.
Yeah, I probably could have cut that steak with my fork. I should have tried that!!! Thanks very much and I wish you a Very Merry Christmas also!!! Cheers brother!
T-ROY COOKS T-Roy, I didn’t see the link above for all the equipment you used. Can you post it? Thanks.
Great video, I'm working on a sous vide ribeye as we speak but finishing on the Weber kettle. Beautiful knife, can you put a link to it?
That knife was made by one of my fans, so they are not for sale. I appreciate you watching and I'm sure your ribeye was out of this world!!!
T-ROY COOKS they were delicious and you have some amazing fans!
I was waiting for you to do a sous vide steak! I'm enjoying it too.
Man that looked like a beautiful steak! Thank ya, Troy! ✌️
I appreciate you watching!!! Keep that smoke rollin' brother!
T-Roy you never let us down ever this is awesome and high-tech
Thank you for sharing the sous vide method.. that ribeye did not look dry one little bit...
That's it T-Roy I'm applying for dual citizen I'm coming down to your house one of these days..

Yep, it doesn't get much easier!!! Thanks for watching Luis!!!!
Looks great! I need to try this.
Yes, you really do! I was truly amazed with the tenderness and juiciness of the steak. I can't wait to try out other meats and veggies!!! Thanks for watching!
Ooou I have to try this.
I hope you do Karel. It's some fine eating brother!!
Great Video!
Hi Troy!! I really enjoyed this video. You have me wanting to try sous vide for sure. I recently cooked a steak in a cast iron skillet but I think you've out did me. :-) Nicely one as always!
Hey Tom, glad you stopped by brother!!! You've got to give sous vide a try. That steak was so tender and juicy it blew me away!!! Hope you have a great weekend!!! Cheers
Hey brother Troy, love your videos. But I think it's time to have a Moonshine vs t-Roy cookoff again. Please bring Moonshine back into the mix!!!
That looks good. I may dabble in that myself
I hope you do Lyle. I know you would have a lot of fun using it! Thanks for watching brother!
T-Roy I like to SV Sirloin steaks. It takes a great tasting but tough piece of meat and gives it the juiciness and softness of Fillet!! Of course Prime Ribeye works well to!! (try corn on the cobb at 180 for 30 min Wonderful stuff!!)
Thanks for the tip on the corn. I'll definitely give that a go!!!
