What happened to Aarons suspended sentence and the second charge (posession of a firearm)? I have the feeling they wanted us to just forget about it, since they needed the character on air for the next couple of storylines. But after they used it to frighten Aaron that he might stay in prison for a year, they at least have to give an explanation why the other charge was dropped as well and why his suspended sentence had been dropped.
Aaron only has himself to blame for being arrested in the first place. Robert didn’t want to believe Aaron shot him but when Aaron spewed his venom in the courtroom wishing him to “drop dead” Aaron was definitely acting like a man who would have shot him. Robert’s not psychic and he changed his statement and got Aaron released as soon as he found out he didn’t shoot him. Yes she was. The Sugden family were complicated but it was basically Jack Sugden whose childhood sweetheart Pat left the village at 16 not knowing she was already pregnant with his child. She was the love of his life and she returned years later with her adult son Jackie (Robert’s only full sibling), they got back together, married and she gave birth to Robert. Pat then died in a car accident when Robert was a young baby and Jackie died in a hunting accident when Robert was a toddler. Jack then married Sarah when Robert was still very young so she was his step mum and Victoria was Jack and Sarah’s only biological child, so Vic and Robert are half siblings. Andy was originally a school friend of Robert who Jack and Sarah ended up adopting. Which they maybe regretted as decent Andy who always seems later to be treated as the good guy killed Sarah in an arson attack when he was 14, tried to murder Robert (yes he had form) but ended up shooting Jack by mistake (he survived), was at least partly responsible for Max (Jimmy’s brother) death in a game of chicken, got Debbie pregnant when she was only 14/15, and became a domestic abuser who was violent to his 2nd wife Jo. And he was STILL somehow Jack’s favourite golden boy. Oh and Diane married Jack when Robert and Andy were about 16 and Victoria a child so she was a late 2nd stepmother to all of them.

Adam and Aaron are idiots in this episode…Robert is the victim here who had massive trauma from the gunshot and was in a coma for a month. Technically, he didn’t know who shot him if it wasn’t for Ashley leaving his voicemail for the wrong brother Robert wouldn’t have figured it out. Even after Andy admitted to being behind it Robert still doesn’t know at this point who pulled the trigger. Not to mention that Robert immediately called the police to give a new statement to get Aaron released. So I think Adam, Aaron and the rest of the self centered Dingle clan should be a little less hostile and bit more grateful!

I don't think aaron knows robert comfronted immediatly his brother when he knew and did everything to help him. (SPOILERS) I know he told him andy asked to ross to shot him but i don't think he knew what really happened. Also damn!!! The number of "I" aaron uses in his sentence blaming Robert for not helping him sooner. It's incredible the way he dismisses the Robert's trauma, like most of the characters actually. He is the one who was shot and we all have to feel sorry for Aaron. I know his character, i really respect and admire his strenght but seriously.. and i think we already talked about it together, aaron is very self-centered. It's always him first.
