- It was so nice to record this tuned 1992 Lancia Delta HF Integrale Evoluzione doing 4WD slides and spitting huge flames during Adria Raceway's track day, organized in collaboration with WRCTeam (an Italian club for owners of rally-style cars, meaning Subarus, Lancer Evos, Deltas etc.), a couple of weeks ago. The Delta S4 and Delta integrale have nothing in common except number of cylinders, drivetrain layout and the name...
The Delta S4 was a purpose built tubeframe race car.
Well, not really, since it has the box car design from the late 1980s. Anyway, still one of the greatest cars Lancia ever made.

Blue smoke, burned oil, black smoke unburned fuel, flame , umburnet fuel in exhaust, but beautifull and passion car fast and very nice for driving, a was lucky to drove 8v and 16v Integrale at 90s, never forget, love forever!

Edit: It looks like the handling is super predictable, naturally it has mild understeer unless you flick the steering, tickle the hand brake and smash on the gas it goes fully sideways, but predictably so.
I’d also like to see that NSX vs Impreza battle.
Those look like just standard road tyres. Nothing special.
The track is pretty wet so it probably wasn't THAT hard on the tires.

That early 80s efi..not like a haltec or motec those ecus ran in a "general" afr range..not as accurate as some of todays ecu's but shes a beutiful car..

dicono di si, cmq bene bene al motore non fa >D va be che sono capaci di pulirle la testata ogni volta che la usano, cosi non fai danni.
Non credo sia dovuta alla carburazione grassa poiché è un quattro tempi. Direi che il fumo sia dovuto a un problema di para oli esausti sulla valvole o raschia oli sui pistoni.

Si può essere sicuramente un po’ grasso il rapporto stechiometrico per via delle fiammate che mantengono il turbo in pressione, in più brucia olio perché fa fumo bianco oltre che nero. Le delta erano molto delicate , erano sempre dal meccanico
Padre maronne Uhh un punto forte della delta è proprio il motore,affidabile e robusto. Se mantenuto di serie non era mai dal meccanico. Solo che pochi si accontentavano dei 200/220 cavalli di serie e quindi le pompavano alla grande con ovvie ripercussioni su durata e inconvenienti...
