Since 1962, The Dubliners have been enthralling audiences worldwide with their music and song. The strength and attractiveness of The Dubliners has always been in the personalities of the musicians who have made up this boisterous band of balladeers, from original members, Ronnie Drew, Barney McKenna, Luke Kelly, Ciarán Bourke, John Sheahan and Bob Lynch to the arrival at different stages of Jim McCann, Seán Cannon, Eamonn Campbell and finally the peerless Paddy Reilly.
    Produced By: David Donaghy

    Here the lyrics :)
    Chorus:
On the Banks of the roses
Me love and I sat down.
And I took out me fiddle for me love to play a tune!
And in the middle of the tune, oh she smiled and she said:"Oh my jhonny oh my jhonny don't you leaaaaaaave me"
    Verse 1:
Well, when I was a young one I heard me father say
That he would rather see me dead and buried in the clay
Sooner than be married to any runaway
By the lovely sweet banks of the roooooooses
    Chorus
    Verse 2:
And when I get married 't' will be in the month of May
When the leaves they are green and the meadows they have hay,
And me and me true love will sit and sport and play
Bye the lovely sweet banks of the roooooooooses
    No problem!
