It's high time somebody take this mechanism into consideration and make it locally made in India to be more affordable rather than buy it at such cost.
Hey Abhinav, when you will decide to purchase , Pick smaller one ST605 and there a new one launched ST611, Super Compact and i suggest, Stick to max 6L capacity bcoz in the long run, 15L-20L tankbag it will frustrate you as you wont be able to see your dash at all. I am considering hence suggesting. Do check out 611, bloody awesome!! Otherwise GIVI TANKRING System and compatible Tankbags are far superior than SW-MOTECH and HEPCO&BECKER ones which have similar mechanisms.

Cool to hear you're coming to Uttrakhand again. I live in dehradun and just got my Meteor delivered today so I'm planning some rides. Wish i bump into you somewhere haha.
Shaun Rai He's most probably back by now bro. He already uploaded some pics from Uttarakhand on his Instagram page. I guess he got the time to upload this now.
The bag is universal but the flange kit is specific to some bikes. The one I have if BF02 which is compatible with Aprilia and Triumph models. So one will have to search on the GIVI website about which flange (ring) will fit on their bike.
Just one question. Can I fit a flange on my Gixxer 250? Because word is that the tank cap on Gixxer 250 is the same as the one used on v-strom 650. If it can fit, then it will be a win win situation for both the supplier as well as the customers.
I have givi ST605 tank bag with usb charger as well inside, you can order givi S111 power hub and S110 power supply from givi to power three USB devices inside the tank bag.
The video title is actually justified by the product. I was in search of something similar. So is the tank lock universal or you have to get bike specific one?
Hi, Abhinav. i am going to college next year and i am thinking of getting a meteor 350 with my dad. i am going to be doing a lot of travel probably if i get it and of course a lot of inter city stuff as well. i have only recently (about a year) started riding and i learned on an old bike we owned for no particular reason (a bajaj discover lol). so for a new rider like me would u recommend the meteor?
Owning a Himalayan myself I’ll recommend maybe getting a Japanese bike like a Yamaha r15 Super Super nimble & light weight & has higher top speed than major RE Bikes or 200c Class Bikes
@@mrvk699 hi vishal. i honestly m not looking for speed, i do get the point u make about weight and maneuverability tho. but i am a big guy, 6'2 and smaller bikes look weird on me lol. and my dad is 5'10 so i am looking for something that will suit both of us and serves travel and city commuting well. could recommend another bike that could do that?
@@ritwaj go for it as a guy who is as big as you (6 feet 4 and 100 kgs on a good day)and has owned R15V3 and currently riding a Dominar i can recommend the meteor its smooth and manages its weight well and you'll learn a lot on it because it's comfortable you won't get tired easily. Why I did not buy it ? well i used to ride a R15 as my kind of first bike so that bike made me a bit of an addict to speed and I needed something more powerful but slowly learnt that power isn't everything its no use if roads aren't good bike isn't comfortable and you aren't skilled enough to use it. The meteor is definitely a looker with tons of potential in going long distance being comfortable and occasional spirited riding.👍 Try CB 350 if you can have heard tons of praises for it and i think it'll be better if you aren't a road racer but like a bit of spirited riding. Good luck and congratulations on your future purchase ride safe.

Ring that mount on bike will apper just same as bottom of Tankring compatible TankBags are same. Where it differs, are screws that fixes over fuel lid which is specific for each motorcycle manufacturer. As Abhinav mentioned, you will get compatibility on Givi site. For TVS bikes, it uses similar design as BMW G310R, so most probably it will fit to most RTRs, but do check. Himalayan it's available, Interceptor doesn't use ring mechanism!
