That's basically the biggest issue with the current version. For me stretch out the chorus a bit. Get someone with a higher voice and produce it in a modern way. It will work.
If Eagles want to make a stand for domestic violence while experimenting with orange, they should do following. Play in a golden orange jumper with dark blue wings for a match. If the fans react positively, then could be used more often as an away strip. Hopefully wouldn't wear white shorts with it, but it would be less of an issue than with their current away strip.
there is one thing worse than yellow shorts and yellow jumper... its white shorts with a yellow jumper. The Eagles need to sort that out. One solution would be to wear a darker golden orange (like Wallabies) away. This would better go with gold-orange shorts or white shorts. But a yellow jumper and white shorts is a really bad look. Work with the AFL so they wear blue shorts with it.
@@drdc22 I'm not coloured blind, but surely if the Eagles play Carlton or Port then we should wear blue shorts with the yellow jumper, not white shorts. Those clubs clearly have white already in their jumper, as does Collingwood Geelong Saints etc... Its hard to confuse royal blue with black or navy blue.
@@drdc22 I agree with comment on white shorts. You get Essendon playing a team with white (be it Coll, Saints, Dorkers etc) yet Essendon then wear white shorts. Surely Essendon should wear red shorts as they did in the 1970s/80s. Same with the all red clash jumper. Why would you wear white shorts with it? Often teams just need to tweak their jumpers a little bit. Make sash a little bit wider with red collar and trimmings. Red socks and red shorts. They'd look nothing like Richmond. Especially if Richmond then introduced a bit more yellow into their jumper for those clashes. A small bit of compromise and common sense from the AFL and you wouldn't need alternative jumpers all the time. Obviously teams like to sell merchandise but if you're going into a grand final then you want your historic strip. If that means red shorts and a wider sash within reason, then most fans would prefer that.
What fantastic get, love Pykey's honesty, would be good to have as a regular. The future of the club is in good hands, so passionate for the club. Could we do 3 rounds interstate one before gather round, then gather round then one after or is that a bridge too far, you could sell it by having a month of home games including the last Derby
Fantastic question and answer regarding more examples of double away trips. Clearly had a positive effect following the bulldogs game. With a young group, they seemed to love it
Get Langer and Wyatt as Board members. Individually. Maybe a couple of players would be good. A few seniors. The assistant coaches are a very dry and dour types especially Schofield and Webster. May need two of them along. Or even Daisy pearce with them to liven it up. Someone from marketing perhaps... but they'd need to be on with a footy dept person. Recruiter perhaps too, maybe with a coach to cover the game and the future.
