      @RDQLUS  Месяц назад

      @@davidvitez9357 that’s a very good question. The build quality suggests that these would last a good long while. They are almost over-built or over-engineered.

    Хороший обзор, думал перейти на них, но слишком много отзывов про жёсткость пластины. Сам пользуюсь версией с вынимаемыми пластинами (их не вынимаю), очень доволен, обувь надёжная и уверенно служит 6-8 месяцев. Ощущения облаков просто. Возможно, пластина непосредственно под стелькой нивелирует чувство жёсткости самой подошвы. Но края чувствуются, и со временем пластина прорезает стельку. После них на Nike даже не смотрю, они лучше и намного дешевле!

    • @RDQLUS

      Yes, the plate is extremely rigid. That’s what keeps me from using them more. I’m glad to hear about the review of the version with the removable plate… and what a brilliant idea! Thanks for that tip-I may try those out as well.

    How did these do in the following weeks of testing them out?

    • @RDQLUS
      @RDQLUS  Год назад +4

      These performed on par with anything top-tier in the market right now. After trying them out, I would definitely double down on the feeling being nearly identical to the Nike Tempo Next% and very close to the Saucony Endorphin Pro 2 (not the current model). The heel-toe transition is a little harsh until broken in, and the the carbon fiber plate is one of the stiffest I’ve felt so you do have to be getting on it the make it work. But the ride and energy return is foolish at pace! It’s not a cloud soft cruiser, it’s an uptight speedster.

      @@RDQLUS I've put about 50 miles on the shoes in less than a week and I think they are good, however I've never used other carbon shoes. I have only the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 to compare them with, which are a nylon shoe and definitely a softer shoe. That said, the Saucony Endorphin Speed 2 I would say are actually more unstable than the OneMix. I also think the OneMix perform their best or the way they should when I'm running at tempo or above pacing. Every single time I've tried to run at a more easy pace, they actually feel more sluggish than my Endorphin Speed 2s OR even my Nike Pegasus 39. They just don't feel good when I personally run above 7:30-9min/mile. I'm not sure why, but they actually feel more fatiguing and slower than shoes of lesser tech if I run easy in them.
      They have held up for the 50 miles and I'm pretty sure I'll be wearing them for a half-marathon Nov5. I was afraid that the at the price or the fact they are a lesser name Chinese brand that the sole would just fall off after actually running hard in them--however, they have held up and seem 100% fine after 50 hard miles on uneven urban pavement. But, I don't know if I'm going to choose them for a full marathon Dec 3rd.
      I'm debating getting the vaporflys or alphaflys, despite them being way out of my budget, but I'm not sure if I'll end up disappointed to find out they are essentially exactly like these much less expensive OneMix shoes.

      @@fluorophoremusic3679 everything you’ve said is spot on. Very good review and information. I had very similar feelings although I’m more of a sprinter/jumper, so my pace is a bit higher but more brief. I do feel this are so stiff I will never break them in like a distance runner would. And yes, I feel the same that if you are not on the throttle with these they will be fatiguing.
      Thanks for the review.

      I too am a big fan of the Saucony Endorfin Speed 2’s ( prefer it over the Speed 3’s). If this shoe delivers close to that shoes performance I’ll be happy dancing. Stay tuned.

    I can get these OneMix Light Armor for 67$, or the Li-Ning Shadow Essential for 80$. What would you recommend buying? I don't care about the price (can get both for really cheap), so lets say the prices of the two are the same, which is better?

    • @RDQLUS
      @RDQLUS  Год назад

      Honestly they are built very differently so it would depend on the the use case. How are you going to be using them? Race day or training? I’m not sure I would train in the OneMix Light Armor, and I don’t think I would race in the Li-ning Shadow.

    • @RDQLUS
      @RDQLUS  Год назад

      @@liorshavt491 I said I would most likely not do it that way. You can do what you’d like best. For me the Light Armor is very stiff and that carbon fiber plate is harder than most I’ve felt. I do like many features of the shoe, but I couldn’t make it “come alive” until I was going fast. It didn’t feel the best at slower pace. The Shadow was a great ride that felt best at tempo and more mellow speeds. The spring of the opposing plates was a little wobbly to navigate at higher speeds because of the way it compresses and rebounds; for me it simply worked better when I could compress it fully, and that only happens when the pace of my workout is a little more mellow.

      This shoe is not for flatfooted runners and heelstrikers. You will suffer knee pain using this shoes if you're flatfooted.
