Delighted with myself for remembering I can go through your back catalogue 🎉👏😂 Carla!! The dishes are so tasty looking, and I love how you've explained it all. As someone who is gun shy with new recipes (and has been known to mess up dishes I regularly make by missing ingredients 🤷🏼😂), I found this video so helpful. I've got my pen and paper and am so excited to try tofu, spices, soya and nutritional yeast in the air fryer 🙌💪😍😋 You're a queen in the kitchen ✅ Thanks 👍
Yay! I’m so glad seeing you over here on RUclips :) have you read Fiber Fueled? I’m listening to the audiobook now and what you said about 30 types of whole vegetable foods reminded me of that.
@@courtney8268 I haven't Courtney but it sounds right up my street! An old friend of mine is a nutritionist and women's health physio. She's always talking about the importance of 30 different types of food for your gut health and it just stuck with me. 🖤🖤 It's nice to see you here too ☺️
@@courtney8268 Thank you Courtney, I must read more into it so I'm well informed, but I would trust the advice of my friend, she's very learned. But it's good for me to back up anyway. 🖤🖤
That tofu looks delicious! I am def going to try this. Never realised nutricional yeast is low in call. Also such a fan of the callowfit sauces! I was wondering as I am staring my weigh loss "journey" again after trying and failing so many times. I am such a snacker! And want to eat all the time (I have a food addiction) how do you keep on your 2/3 meals a day? from 12 to 5 you can go without food! for me that is such long time. In my head there will be a voice saying a 100 times to get a snack. Did you manage that with therapy? (sorry have not seen all your video's yet) Greetings from the Netherlands :)
Hi Viola, I had food addiction as well and managed it with therapy and the programme I did made me focus on what I was going to gain by not giving in. My focus was always on my goals and it really helped. Wish you all the best with your journey 🖤🖤
Hi Viola, I used to have this problem too! The thing that finally allowed me to overcome this was upping my protein, making sure I got a good amount (at least 20-30g) with each meal. In the plant based weight loss community it seems everyone is constantly saying that you don't need to worry about protein, you will get enough if you eat a variety of foods. This may be true from a nutritional standpoint, but left me feeling constantly hungry even with large meals. What finally enabled me to lose weight was eating a decent amount of protein in addition to a lot of vegetables, fruit and other whole foods. I also intermittent fast, eating from 12 to 8. I have three meals, a big meal for breakfast and dinner and a high protein snack around 4pm. Maybe this will help you, I just wanted to let you know what finally worked for me! Take care :)
Do you find it hard to maintain your weight without a lot of starchy carbs? Even if I eat a huge salad I don't feel like it's filling or it hits the spot without something like bread, pasta or rice. Do you ever have higher carb days or do you just feel better eating less? Congratulations on all of your success by the way. You've done an incredible job 😊
My grandmother was born in Newcastle Co. Down. Im in USA
Your morning voice was so soothing. I was listening to your video while driving and I almost nodded off 🤣 love your content c
Awe thank you so much for your lovely complement, but please don't fall asleep while driving 🖤🖤🖤🖤

@@HalfofCarla That's awesome! I hadn't heard about the importance of variety for my microbiome until recently. You're ahead of the game

Do you drink plant milk so as part of your coffee before you break your fast?
Hey, thanks for sharing your journey and way of eating. Do you eat just two main meals a day with some snacks?
Yeap two main meals and snacks in-between 🖤
Can you drink shakes in the am? Before noon?

Little knome. Add nuts?
If youre "hungry" without eating those carbs then you might just be addicted to the sugar. For me personally, i would need to add more protein
