A major problem with aftermarket headlights which you have not covered is that many well known aftermarket brands of Chinese/Taiwanese made headlights use inferior materials vs OEM manufactured lights. Overtime the headlight material degrades due to environmental conditions such as sunlight and weather. This causes the headlight surface to cloud up/delaminate after a short period of time vs stock/OEM headlights. The lights then have to be repaired/restored. I've purchased many well known aftermarket brands and usually after 2-3 years these will require restoring.
Do you or anyone on here know if these would work on the MK7 golf sportwagen? I've found them on several websites and none of them specify... I am assuming the use the same OEM headlights so these would work?
Hey, Just bought my MK7 last week and so far I’m loving the car. Its an S like yours so it has the halogen lights, however mine has a problem where I cant run the fog lights with my lights AT ALL. Do I need a euro switch? Is its a specific problem for the base models? Ive tried to code it with my OBD11 but still no luck. Any thoughts??
I’m very brain dead when it comes to this sort of thing. I’m very new to the GTI game so bear with me. I have LP headlights but they need to be replaced due to damage. So I should just look into replacing them OEM style and completely overlook getting aftermarket’s

Are Ed's Replica's now BMP Tuning headlights? I've been researching doing this exact upgrade to my halogen S GTI.

all the aftermarket ones I've seen are made for replacing the stock lights, and wont work if you have the LP, but maybe they make ones for that
