Create a New Partition with GParted

Additional Information:
Make sure you back up any information you would not want to loose, as you always run the small risk of possibly damaging or loosing data, and I take no responsibility for that.
Also, run a defragment before you partition, this will speed it up a little, and minimize the risk of data loss.
Let the check disk run on your start up after you apply your partitions.
This will work with almost any operating system.

I Never used Gparted as yet.. After watching this video, I will definately give it a shot. I want to install Linux on some OLD Laptops (P166) Hopefully this will be less work with GParted. You did a great job. Thanks for the Video..

For me the buttons on the top are all grayed out and I cannot click on either of them. When I right click my main hard drive that I want to partition then again all the options are grayed out except "Unmount", "Manage Flags" and "Information". Can anyone help me PLEASE? :-(

HELP!!! i swear i did everything right and now my computer wont boot! i think its trying to boot from the blank partition, either that or it cleared both partitions so now i have no data AND cannot boot...
