    Thank you sir! Mas naintindihan ko na ngayon yung concept behind sa shear capacity ng RC beam

    pls talk to university kasador/kamador how things are done on site.

      sure why not. may i knwo the objective of my talk to a kasador or kamador? maybe it is fit to be done on other yt channel :) my main focus is the principle behind of what is typically done in the site based on code prescriptions from NSCP 2015 as the current standard through technical analysis and structural computations and also my experiences as the structural engineer designer and on site inspector/ structural auditor. cheers :)

      note that under this discussion seismic code provisions are not included and to be discussed on a separate yt video lecture. it is better to discuss things one at a time before it is converted into a real practice since practices are derived from repetitive structural computations removing the outlyers and errors of the previous calcs as seen on past failures found on sites :)

      @@nioroskyengineeringonline8968 the objective ay yun mga kwenta (load cal) precisely correct pero mababawan yan kung mali ang pagkakasa. cheers

      @@danilodanting6052 that is a nice objective. After the principle of computation in accordance to nscp 2015 code provisions and here cones the practical side of installation. You can focus on your content with the intention of the discussion of the practical side of installing the rebars and web reinforcement correctly in accordance to ACI detailing practices. The objective of my YT channel is to cover most of the principle of computations with code provision and to provide some commentaries a student can appreciate for reasoning and basic understanding. You suggestion is a good idea and need to be done separately in order for the learners not to be confused and find it interesting with a separate type of discussion. Cheers. It would be on my future video lectures since i am also a practicioner of structural engineering designs and construction supervisory as a consultant :)

      @@nioroskyengineeringonline8968 thanks i know this is not the right place to talk about the consultant vs kasador. Wala pa basic rules as steelman guide to follow piro books/handy pamplet ang electrician maging tubero ay meron. good luck experienced kasador/diy.

    Hello sir, may tanong lang po ako, pwede gamitin po bah fy as fyt kahit na may given na As?

    • @nioroskyengineeringonline8968
      @nioroskyengineeringonline8968  2 года назад

      Fyt is the specs for rebar strength under web compression. Puede naman sila pareho ng main reinf strength. I have a discussion on that regarding the proper selection of fyt as done in practice. Cheers. Check my discussion on web reinf principle and analysis found on the same playlist. Cheers.

    Paano malaman if significant yung axial compression/tension? Ano minimum value to compare actual axial to say na significant ito? Thanks

    • @nioroskyengineeringonline8968
      @nioroskyengineeringonline8968  4 года назад

      as the comparison of the actual axial force Pu to the capacity of 10% of the concrete compressive strength as a function of gross section. to consider cracking

      @@nioroskyengineeringonline8968 Is this based dun sa 0.004 minimum reinforcement strain? or meron separate discussion sa code? thanks

    • @nioroskyengineeringonline8968
      @nioroskyengineeringonline8968  4 года назад

      Based sa pagkakaalala ko one basis ng code for strain limit min of 0.004 is the significant presence ng axial force.

      Kasi once mas malaki sa assumed cap na 10% means malaki na masyado yung tension force perpendicular sa cross section and can create additional moments to be carried, thus increasing the tension weakness of concrete. Kaya sa nscp 2010 it was mentioned if axial tension is significant, set Vc to zero since yung web element na kakarga ng buong shear force kaya Vn = Vs
