Hi Dayle! You are so real! I love that you are branching out to share with us more than just handbags. I love seeing you confidently teaching others to be their best selves. I cannot be you (purchasing expensive items), but I feel valued by you. Like you, I want to be my best self. And I can do it! Thanks for the lessons and encouragement. You go, Girl!
Dayle, you are such an inspiration. I am a very similar size and shape to you and your style last year inspired me to add colour and florals to my wardrobe and brought me a great deal of pleasure. I have also learned to accept myself as I am, and I have stopped trying to be what I cannot possibly be. I have never been thin, and I never will be. I am now proud of my curves, and if others choose to laugh at me, well, that's their problem, and not mine. You look great and have a fantastic playful style. Your videos mean a great deal to your subscribers. Thank you.
I started taking pictures of myself a few years ago. Such a big help as you’ve mentioned to find an outfit for the day. Thank you Dayle take care. 🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸🌸
@ it so shouldn’t be scary. And yet I do get why it would be. You started your channel to explore one passion, but it’s evolved as have you, along the way. Exposing you at times to the vile side of the interwebs and people who feel a need to spew mean comments and opinions instead of scrolling on by. You have genuinely helped me be kinder to myself. Thank you! It’s a struggle sometimes but when I least expect it you post a video like this which recharges my desire to keep striving, like you do, to embrace me as I am, not me as I wish I could be. x
Thanks lovely, I do but because I’m continuing to lighten dark hair I’ll keep getting brass until we get it as light as we want then the shampoo can just maintain - it’s a job!!
I know the whole colour season thing is quite old as a concept but it really works. I guessed I was a winter before someone telling me as I’m very ‘contrasty’: pale, dark hair, hazel eyes. The joy of getting older as a woman is you reach a point where you really don’t give two sh*ts about what people think about how you look and you learn to dress to please yourself. Ageing is a privilege and wrinkles are the sign of a life lived well.
You’re right! I actually find women are the worst about making other women feel they ‘should’ be doing this or that. We dress for ourselves - not our men or each other.
Wow, it always amazes me how some people can be so cruel and unnecessarily abusive in comments. People who say mean things for no reason and get off on it are messed up in the head...THEY are ones who are UGLY! You have amazing style, and you look great Dayle! It takes a lot of courage to embrace who you are and accept your whole self, including all the things you struggle with and perceive as flaws. I have been struggling with hair loss for the last 10+ years. I tried everything imaginable to stop it from falling out, grow it back etc. and nothing worked. It took a lot of wasted money and tears for me to finally come to terms with it, accept it and move on. When it gets me down, I just try to remember all the amazing things in life that I have been blessed with. Having the courage and confidence to be comfortable in your own skin is SEXY AS HELL!!! 😃😍🤩
I’ve taking a little over a year to embrace my natural self. I dissolved my lip filler, I went more natural with my hair, and I’ve embraced my body. I’m not gonna lie, it’s been hard. I look back at my old photos and I don’t feel good about how I look now. I have decided to add more blonde to my hair but I’m still choosing to embrace my size 10 body and my natural lips.
I love when you do these videos! You've really inspired me to learn more about this for myself. I have a much better understanding of my color palette (autumn! what was i doing wearing lilac a few years ago?? ) and have made a lot of changes in my wardrobe and in my handbags. I still need to lean a bit more into proportions and prints and whatnot. We're around the same age and I'm getting to the exact same mindset of no longer worrying about my shape or size, more that I'm doing things that are healthy.
Beautiful inside and out who cares what others think?! Live to bring you and yours joy and let them live theirs. We’re given one life to live, live it girl! good info video too 😉 TAM
Love a little style update chat. Definitely playful! Besides instagram to record your daily outfits, do you use anything else to track outfits and looks you would like to try or items you are wanting to add to your wardrobe?
I appreciate the knowledge you share about style. I do follow your Instagram account and recently purchased a denim blazer then checked to see how you style yours!!! Thank you for sharing what you’ve learned. 😊
I love dressing my top-half in my colour season too, and love an interesting print. I’m 50, and find that as I’m approaching menopause my shape is changing and im gradually getting larger despite eating well and being active. To avoid feeling bad about putting out a lot of clothes which no longer fit, I’m not buying too many pieces in my current size to begin with.
You truly always look fabulous, lovely Dayle. I live vicariously through you and love seeing your daily outfits. You are stunning and you are so beautiful not just on the outside but on the inside and it shines through. You don't need botox, you are gorgeous. I have naturally blonde hair and very fair skin which I inherited from my mum who was English and probably the reason I am now having to deal with skin cancer surgeries. Every time I go to my hairdressers, she works around the corner from home, which is so handy, I ask her "Any grey hairs yet ?" and she says no. I am so surprised I'm not totally grey with everything going on in my life, especially that in less than 3 months I will be 67. OMG. I hate the thought of that. Apart from health problems that make me feel 167 on the inside , I do feel younger on the outside and people say I look younger than my age. Perhaps they are just being kind. 😂I'll pay them later. 🤣I truly admire you. You are Fabulous, don't take notice of the nasty comments you sometimes get, though I realise it would be hard not to at times, it is their problem not yours. Much love. Jenni. XX💜💜
So informative. I’m transitioning to grey also. Feeling a little worried how I will style my outfits along the way. I’m very pale so it could really wash my skin tone out. Think I might need some professional help. 💗😃
I love to pick up the illusion styling tricks from Trinny Woodal! She’s huge on making things proportional, you might like her if don’t already follow her work. BTW, I’m on a mission to buy all of the high waisted jeans that fit me before the low rise come back and ruin my proportions 😂
Dayle, you are so beautiful ! Inside and out I believe. So fun in personality too😊. I was wondering if you lost weight. I am struggling due to being disabled and not able to move far enough for long enough to do it and I’m depressed. I stay in intense physical pain. If you did anything to lose a bit of weight, I would love to know how . Please don’t misunderstand, you are so pretty no matter what❤️
I can't believe such sad people waste their time to post awful comments. Where do they get off! Also, have you thought you may be a bright spring? You come across warmer toned on my screen with bright eyes and I spy a very vivid lime green shirt back there that most other seasons avoid. Maybe I'm wrong, it's hard to pinpoint tones on screen.
Taking a photo of my outfits has been game changing!
We learn so much that way!
Great video. I love that you own who you are and have fun with it. Something we all need to learn.

This was so lovely to read- thank you for your lovely comment!
It’s great you know yourself so well and what works for you. Something RUclips and Instagram could do more with, in this space!

Karen - thank you for your comment, it makes me so happy to hear you’re having a great time with your style 🩷

It’s really the best thing!
Being yourself 🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻. Louder for those in the back. You’re beautiful. And a beautiful inspiration always.
You’re too sweet, it feels scary to say that when I’m sure there are many who have opinions to the contrary - crazy isn’t it?!

Hi Dayle, idk if you use a purple shampoo but if you haven’t I would recommend “No Yellow” shampoo. It will keep your blonde more cool in tone.
Thanks lovely, I do but because I’m continuing to lighten dark hair I’ll keep getting brass until we get it as light as we want then the shampoo can just maintain - it’s a job!!

Insightful video. Lots of subtleties that most people don't think about. Very helpful, Dayle. :)
It’s amazing how those little things add up!

Love hearing your thoughts. Living in a colder/milder climate I find that impacts my style and prefer layers even in summer😂
That makes summer dressing fun!

Love a little style update chat. Definitely playful! Besides instagram to record your daily outfits, do you use anything else to track outfits and looks you would like to try or items you are wanting to add to your wardrobe?
Nothing formal - just a zillion abandoned carts and tabs open in my browser 🙈😂😂
🤣

That’s a great approach - the odd thing is after menopause apparently we shrink 🙈🤗🙄
@ I hope so!

Jenni - thank you so much for your lovely comment, how lucky you are to maintain your beautiful hair - the precious skin is a challenge tho!
So informative. I’m transitioning to grey also. Feeling a little worried how I will style my outfits along the way. I’m very pale so it could really wash my skin tone out. Think I might need some professional help. 💗😃
You can have low lights added which are darker pieces underneath to add dimension!
That’s great to know. I’m heading to the hairdresser this week ☺️

Oh yes, she’s a master with illusion! Low waisted jeans - I remember those days…. 20 years ago 😂😂
Dayle, I was wondering if you still own that Guccci Linea Cestino (wicker) bag?
I do, I wear it a lot less these days but I still adore ir
@ yes, you have quite the collection of beautiful handbags, jewelry etc. I have wanted that bag since you shared it on this channel!
Dynamic
I love this word!

I don’t think so, I don’t weigh myself, just go on how my clothes feel ☺️
Love these videos ❤❤ love seeing your style evolution and how you adjust it when things change like hair tone etc. Sexi ladiii
It’s so much fun to see how things can evolve!
Love this video! Just FYI- I'm not sure if you are still looking, but Burberry have a few trench coats on their website that are more cool toned :)
Thank you so much for sharing, I have received a few heads-up messages on insta so I am off to check them out!
I can't believe such sad people waste their time to post awful comments. Where do they get off!

Yes I’m definitely leaning that way with my warmer hair and tan!
