(The info I supplied is incorrect for this application GL-5 is the correct oil)
Hey Alex, I think you should be using a GL-4 75w90. The bag you used looked like the GL-5 stuff designed for hypoid gears. This is a quote from vpracing " They make GL4 gear oils with enough EP additives to protect spur and helical gears in manual transmissions. A GL4 will maintain the necessary balance of viscosity, detergency, and corrosion protection. This type of oil is perfect for vehicle gear applications with high levels of yellow metals. An API GL5 gear oil has higher levels of active sulfur phosphorous, which will corrode yellow metals.".

As I said in the previous video I had an old Porsche that did the same thing. If you just hold the key a bit longer the starter will turn. We used to put insulation around the starters or just hold the key a bit longer. Heat and magnetism don't like each other since they drastically reduce the force of the magnet. If you hold the starter a bit longer then you increase the magnetic force gradually through electricity and the threshold for the actuation of the starter is met.

Don't forget to check brake fluid reservoir isn't too full before you compress the pistons. I would empty the entire reservoir first, clean it and then flush all the old fluid once new pads are installed.

In the mid 70’s I had the honor to get a 72 Ford De Tomaso Pantera. The engine 351 Cleveland was blown. I paid $22,500 for the car brought it to a place called Race Engineering in Phoenix Arizona and asked them to build me a new engine for it. They put together a 427 crate engine with aluminum heads, all reinforced, blueprinted, and somehow stuck a supercharger on top of it. Back then it cost me $30,000 to get it modified. It dynode at 710 hp and 690 foot pounds of torque. What a car! I wish I still had it because I think it would be something you would love to worked on. But my best friend borrowed the car, taking his wife on a joyride and crashed it into a tree doing 150 miles an hour killing both of them.
Please don’t get yourself into trouble with your car. Driving so much power gives us a feeling of invincibility that can go wrong at a instant!
