Hey guys, thanks for looking out on the oil starvation issues on Hoovies LS 911. I had heard of those issues too and I'll definitely be addressing it in a future episode.

Alex, love this pick up. 2 years ago I rolled the dice on a 99' 996 that was sitting in my neighbors garage for 12 years. Scrapping all that unused wire was the right move. It looks much cleaner under the hood. This video was a great ad for FMU and the great work they do.
The new exhaust fits the Porsche so much better. Before, I wasn't sure what you were going to get besides neatening the engine bay out of it, but those are some great sounds. Props to Fluid Motorunion. Just like OJ said, it needs some more RPM range. Just think what that top end will sound like then.
(The info I supplied is incorrect for this application GL-5 is the correct oil) Hey Alex, I think you should be using a GL-4 75w90. A GL4 will maintain the necessary balance of viscosity, detergency, and corrosion protection. This type of oil is perfect for vehicle gear applications with high levels of yellow metals. As I said in the previous video I had an old Porsche that did the same thing. If you just hold the key a bit longer the starter will turn. We used to put insulation around the starters or just hold the key a bit longer. Heat and magnetism don't like each other since they drastically reduce the force of the magnet.
