Looking forward to be able to follow a C-Verse save. The A.I renders helps me so much the pictures before seemed so cheap and ripped me out of the immersion of booking a real life wrestling company. Good luck Local to Globals are always fun
I personally liked the old pictures but can see how much more inclusive it is for the people who prefer real world mods. Grey dog software definitely made it easier for normal people to get into the c-verse if they hadn’t given it much of a try in previous versions. Thanks for the support man!

Hell yeah. I love this challenge, can’t wait to see how you do it. I usually set up an insignificant promotion (0 popularity everywhere) called the World Wrestling Federation. Original, I know, but I have the logo from real world mods and play in the cornellverse
Yeah man it's easily the best challenge in the game! I honestly like the idea of starting the WWF in the C-verse very interesting stuff trying to build it up another universe. Hope you enjoy the series man!

Pistol Pete Hall is a good choice, he is not too overpowered on the mic or with booking. I like Texas Hangman as a potential big star and champion, I can see him going on a big winning streak. . Maybe being like your Undertaker. I can see him rarely getting pinned cleanly. Original Sinner has a great render in this series and has improved a lot. . Could be a good fued with Hangman. I was thinking that you might consider hiring one more cheap vet with high Psych/Respect who can be also be a road agent to be part of your booking team to help get more Creative points . If you make Pistol Pete or someone a commentator it will give them a commentary rating.
I was reading about 'Slow Build", it only works really well if both guys have high Psych, think I will just use it if they are both over 70 Psych or lower stanima. So it might sabotage your matches a bit if they don't have good psychology..
About the quick angles, you can go to the next screen and add more people if you wanted I think. Just add them on the main screen , you can add more off-screen I believe too.
Yeah very happy with Pete Hall as my character. Wasn’t many other good choices that made sense for an old school style of company. Hangman was one that I like the look of immediately. I will definitely be hiring another veteran in the next round of signings once we’re profitable. Will try and get someone with a little bit of popularity as well to benefit our less popular workers. Good to know about the commentary thing.
Yeah I generally try not to have anyone under 70 with a slow build or even calling a match. 65 psych is my minimum for anyone in a 10 minute match that’s called.

Thanks man, appreciate the support. If you head over to greydog software forums you should be able to find all the graphics you could ever need. I assume most of them will be in the 2020 threads though so keep an eye on them from the years previous.
Why dont you write your own gimmicks and choose the appropriate gimmick type?
I'm very happy with most of the C-verse style gimmicks for the workers. They are essentially portraying who the C-verse character is. I will change some of them as we go and if they are poor gimmicks they will be changed as well.

I’m glad to see Astro and Dragon signed. I’ve used both of them in my Lucha Libre save. I think Astro has some real potential.
Yeah they’re both really good young workers. Very happy with Blue Dragon and think he could have a decent career with us.

How do you set up a company like you have done and take away all the wrestlers and money etc? Did you choose rocky mountain wrestling from list of companies?
If you want my series announcement video it will show you. Basically you can either create your own company in the database or use one that’s already set to open in the future like I have done for RMW. It’s as simple as setting that companies open date to 01-01-2022 and they will available to choose at the start of each game
@AuspiciousAussie thank you is their a way to search the editor to find uk based company's that haven't opened yet rather than creating one?
Nah I don’t think there is a way to search based on locations. Might just have to go through them all. You can also re-open previously closed companies if they are still in the game. Ring of Fire is one in the UK that comes to mind.

28:25 alright honest question.. what's the point of creating a character if you literally cannot use it for anything ?
Essentially the characters are just like everything else on the game. Its primarily a text based game. There characters are what you base your storylines off and then how you use them on your shows. Some people are more creative then others and vice versa.

One of the reason's why I love TEW. Can be as creative or as progressive as you want. Can take a full day and barely get through a few shows or you can progress quickly through a year in game. No "right" way to play it either. Completely up to the gamer themselves.
@@AuspiciousAussie well that's very true you could book a whole series in a matter of days if you have the right State of mind and creativity for it... It's almost like writing a book...

The AI "real" C-verse photos in the new game are crap. The cartoony C-verse photos had more personality
I know what you mean. I got so used to the old c-verse pictures that it took me by surprise. Will definitely get used to it and some of them I actually like a fair bit for certain workers.
I get the more "personality" argument, but I disagree that they shouldve kept them. It was a no-brainer for immersion. Regardless, you can just replace the renders, there are plenty of packs out there. But AI makes sense, especially when it comes to new character generation.
Yeah I think that’s what they were going for that allows them to spend less time themselves actually creating the renders. Having software do it for you has to massively speed things up, allowing them to work on other things/features.
I thought I was gonna hate it, but after downloading the demo and playing around with it a bit, I kinda enjoy it more. Some guys certainly look more generic, but it makes the world feel more realistic, if that makes sense.
